Sarah,  she is adorable!  She has such a cute, innocent face.

Thank you all so much.  I really appreciate your comments.  I forgot to mention, his eye lashes are made from hair from my mule's tail.  I really had a great time making this one.

edgar4.jpgedgar3.jpgI ordered this fabric from Intercal on a whim and tried my hand at a giraffe.  Edgar is the result.  He sits about 8".  Has cotter pin jointed legs.  His head is not jointed.  His face and horns are needlefelted.  His hooves are leather.  He will be on my website later today.

He is cute.  That green reminds me of the green grass of summer, which I am looking so forward to.

My sister-in-law lives in Houston.  She came home one evening and let her little dog out in the back yard.  Within seconds he was dead, killed by a coyote.  They are nothing to mess around with.  We have them around here, but have never had a problem.  We had a donkey and now have a little pony who hates dogs.  She keeps them away.

Mato is beautiful.  I love those feet of his.

I am making an Easter basket for a silent auction.  My basket will not have the traditional bunny, but a bear.  I can't post pictures, because I don't have it finished (truth is I don't even have it started yet).  I do have the basket though.

Boomer is beautiful!  I am looking at him and feeling so confused.  He doesn't look like crochet to me.  And without a pattern?  You are so talented.  I have done some crochet in the past, but never made it beyond a baby afghan.  I never dreamed you could make something like this.

Max is cute.  He looks to be such a happy little guy.

Thank you very much.  This is for a young girl that I have been working with.  She is 13 years old and has actually made a few bears on her own.  She does eventually want to learn to make her own patterns, so we will be working on that one.  I think she can handle this dog, so we'll give it a go.

Carly is precious!  She just looks so feminine and sweet.

I am looking for a pattern for a young girl.  She wants to try her hand at making a dog.  The pattern needs to be fairly simple.  I would appreciate any help.  Thanks.

millie

She looks fabulous!  I love the setting.  Is this done on a program like photoshop?

HPIM1162.jpgI am doing an art show next month.  I will have, not only bears, but also handmade note cards and some art work.  I just thought I would share one of my latest.  I have done this picture with pastels, which is a new venture for me.

Harrison is adorable.  The pillow is wonderful also.

What a wonderful story among all of the tragic ones.

I have just heard from Sandi, and she is safe.   Please keep everyone  in your prayers.

I have been checking on this post, hoping to hear from Sarah (Jelly Belly Bears), Sandi (Bearly Sane) and others.  I am concerned about them.  I realize it could just be a matter of things like - having no power.  I am trying to have a positive attitude, so if anyone has heard from our friends down under, please let us know.

Hello Louise,

It is so wonderful to have you back.  You have been greatly missed. bear_flower

What a precious little one.  I would love to be the one in charge of raising that baby.  What an adventure in love that would be.

millie

Thank you all very much.  My husband called from work to let me know that a lady there wants to buy 6 cards.  I was thrilled.  I really enjoy making them.

millie

A big hello to you, Jacqui.  Well wishes back at you.

millie

What a wonderful birthday present.  You must be so proud.
