YES I have tried over the year so many times to make a cutie bear. and funny this subject has come up cos i just finished a cutie bear. even though i still think its not cute enough. I have a box full of unfinished bears from trying to make a cutie or a traditional bear. Its frustrating me.
wow thats fantastic Kim. All the very best
but difficult for non creative types is that creating is not something we like to do--it is something we must do--as necessary as breathing.
TAMI This is so true, I MUST DO IT. I get really moody and edgy when I can't creat.
Thank you so much to every one. My bears are my niche, after years of trying different things. Eg: hairdressing, beauty, sales.
I will apply and hopefully get in. My stat test score is still valid. so that should help me get in. I am really excited.
Thanks again
Hello
Has anyone here done a Art Degree?
I am so frustrated with my bears and myself. I have so many designs in my head and a new direction for my bears and art, but I am so frustrated, they won't come out.
I have the option next year to go back to uni and finish my business degree. OR Do what I love and take the love further. Doing a Art degree and majoring in sculpture and minor textiles. I want to make my bears and animals to look and move like real ones. I am busting with creative energy BUt I just can't get it out.
I would love to hear from anyone who has done a art degree, and I wonder if its a good direction for me.
I think the business degree will be a waste as now I have 4 kids, I don't think I will return back to work after my maternity leave is up Feb 2009.
I love Punch needle. I saw it at a craft fair 4 years ago and bought the kits. Its so easy and relaxing. My kids do it too, as it so easy and they love the fact they can acheive something that looks great that they have made themselves. I got my stuff from http://www.punchneedleembroidery.com/ she was at the show
and bought a heap of colour threads from ebay from thread teds.
I have amde minature mats for my bears.
me too
I was watching Oprah tonight and it was about internet scams. especially from Nigera. They use stolen c/cards and get the item shipped to the US to someone that has been sucked into thinking they got a job to work at home as a mail forwarder. they believe its all safe until the secret service knock on their door. advising them they are working for a scam artist. Its getting bad. Just be careful. Especially when they want to pay via credit card.
She is SOOOO Gorgeous.
Congratulations
I do myself. I have a show this weelend in Melbourne and I have only one bear finished. i stayed of houp all night Monday night. caught a couple hourrs sleep yesterday while kids were at school. I am getting there. All the bears are just waiting for faces. So I am trying not to go on here to much. But all and all i like working during the night, its so quite and I can get heaps done
Cool

Hi all
I would like to Thank you all that have supported the aerobics team. Just letting you know it is being drawn on Friday the 28th sept by Annalises teacher, so the raffle is closing midnight thurs 27th Adel, south aus time. So if you still want to enter please go to my website. Good luck to all who have entered. I am hoping it goes to a bear artist collector, but in this process i have educated a lot of people about artist bears. as we sold tickets here as well as on my site.
Thanks again
I feel for you. It is frustrating. I am selling my beanie kid collection on ebay and this one beanie kid went for way more than I thought. the cust feedback is good ( fast payer etc) But she hasn't paid me and she has not answered my emails. The last one I sent I ask if she was ok and that I am very easy going and can help her if she has a problem paying on time but still no reply. I had to report non payer today on ebay. i feel bad about it but I had 4 other people bidding for this beanie kid and they could have got it. I am considering using the second chance offer. This is the first time it has happened to me. I am wondering though, as I have reported her and now if I give a neg feedback can she out of spite give me one. I am scared of doing as I don't want one myself.
But anyhow goodluck Tammy, it will work out in the end and prob a better offer will come.
Congratulations Gemma. Love the photos. You look beautiful.
I love it.
Where do you guys get your graphics from for your web site, EG background , scrapbooking look etc.
My website is boring me and want to change it
Bearycheap and Gerrys sell them here in OZ. I use steel shots in all my bears and never had a problem with customes. I get my glass beads and steel shot direct from the supplier in Melbourne. I pick the up when I go over there. I get a 50kg of steel shots and a 50 kg bag of glass beads. Do a search on google for a sand blasting company or supplers you might find a local person. They use them for sand blasting machines and stuff.
if you go to the website it will ask which country you want. its the most popular one here in australia
what about Myob. Its a excellant account keeping system. it hold all the info you want to put in it.

Here is Noah a couple of weeks ago at 10.5 weeks old.
He is such a good little boy and is so happy
Hi Heather
YES, I had a little boy. Noah Bradley Adams, he is now 13 weeks old and enjoying every minute. If that is possiable with 4 kids now.
Good luck Heather and let us know when your little buddle arrives
I can't stand perfume. I love the clean fresh smell. I choke when someone near me has a strong perfume on.
I am so jealous of everyones lovelly rooms, its not fair.
We live in a 4 bedroom home that we built 6 years ago. All the bedrooms are taken up as we now have 4 kiddies. 13, 6, 4 and 12 week old. The house itself is very small, We have a small lounge and then the small kitchen and joining onto that a family dine room, which has our dinner table the kids and warrens computer then I work in the little corner with my sewing machine and laptop at hand, All my supplies are stored in a little cupboard near the computer and in our walk in robe. So its pretty crampy here. But Warren is buying a business at the moment which I hope will help us acheive our 5 year goals, which is I want to build on another family room and our bedroom to be build upstairs with walkin robe and ensuite, then I would make our now bedroom into my studio and office. Can't wait it will be so nice. If that doesn't happen then I will want to move.
I love seeing all the pics, it gives me so many ideas of how I want my setup.
Cheers
