Yes...working away her too!...its an addiction can't stop!! Even Christmas Day...I really tried to stop myself, but just had to sneak away for a couple of hours and get my fix!!!!
I'm working on bears for Hugglets now....which will be here before we know it...

The same thing happened to me in 2005....up until then I enjoyed entering the BBAA's, luckly unlike Jenny, I got back early and didn't miss the awards, but what a shambles it was... as you say Samantha when you have travelled a long way as many people had...it was a huge disappointment to have missed the presentations. For that reason I have not entered since hoping that maybe things would improve...I hope you have a better experience this time.....
Anyway...well done, and good luck...although I don't think you will need it, your entries

Chloe..I actually bought the machine many years before I started making the bears, and thought I would use the
embroidery feature....but never really did....so I would just go for a straight foward simple version if I needed to buy a new one. I'm sure the one your thinking about would be fine. Good luck with it....

Well...I've been using a Toyota sewing machine since I first started making bears, which is around 7yrs now,
and so far have had no problems at all..... The model I have is the electronic version and can do fancy stitches
....but I only use it for stitching the bears now, and I use it every day......so for me its been a good buy!!!

After years of working from my dining room table, I now have a summerhouse type studio in my garden which although expensive at the time, has been the best thing I ever spent money on. Although I am still on site, I find that by having a seperate building from the main house, it feels that I am actually going to work...if you understand what I mean! I work there for five to six hours every day, with no distractions, from computors, phones etc. with just my music and all my fabrics and equipment. I don't find it at all lonely....as I am so absorbed in my work, and get so much more done!
Anyway... hope this may help....and good luck with finding your dream work space!!
