Good for you Wendy! I sent a donation to a wildlife rescue and protection society who are currently rescuing burnt and injured animals from the Boolarra/Mirboo North and Churchill fires. www.wrap.org.au
Thank goodness there are people out there who will be working hard to rescue and care for these animals.
Hugs Lyn
 Had me shaking my booty as well   We have one of those parrots (they are called a Corella) who hangs out with our local gang of Cockatoos.
   Well done to you all and that is great news for the bears
It's looking good Linda and good luck with it! We usually get dive bombed and screamed at by the Magpies if we go to close to their nesting site
Hugs Lyn
Such a sad picture but well done the fire fighter's who are just working so hard - they are all hero's
I have made a donation to the Wildlife Rescue and Protection society who are also working hard to rescue and treat the poor animals as these people are also hero's and need help in their work.

Don't you just love the dog Muffin that Beth made for me! When I took her out of the box I couldn't believe my eyes! I feel a very lucky and happy person to own one of Beth's creations
She looks so much like my Millie too and yes the Norwich Terrier is not such a common breed - rare here in Australia so Muffin is going to be very special to me - thank you so much Beth
I can now show the bear that I sent to Beth as she has just received it. I called her Ginny and when I was making her it just felt so right that she would be going to Beth.
It has been great fun doing the swap and it was good to get to know Beth better and I hope we continue to have our chats. I will certainly take part in another one if it happens again.

I'm ok where I am even though we are surrounded with forest - smelt smoke last night but couldn't see any glow in the dark but had a restless night worrying. The heat and the fires are horrendous and I not only feel for the people but also the wildlife as well. I'm with Linda and Mel about the morons - name and shame them and then use them for target practice!
Anyway, keep safe everyone.

Oh poor Bailey and a little scary for you too. I think you will find that dogs ears are bad bleeders, the mouth is another one. I remember when I was clipping one of my dogs I used the clipper on her ears and I accidentally nicked the edge of one of her ears and it just bled like crazy and there was hardly a mark there! To stop it I just put some pressure on it for a few minutes.

Great job and I left a comment on your blog and it all looks fine on my monitor. You can link me to your blog and I will be adding yours to mine
Hugs Lyn
Thanks for the reminder Peta - there was me thinking it would be April
Don't panic she says! I will be finishing mine today and then I will get in touch with my swap partner as I plan on sending bear off next week

  Oh I enjoyed that and it certainly got my toes tapping and put a smile on my face. Also got the hubby joining in singing, whistling and tapping the desk and he can't do any of them very well, painful!
Me too! Going to go right over and sign up now - thanks Paula and I like the banner very cute!
I've been getting a few of those 'Pastor' or 'Doctor' scam messages which got zapped without a second look. Very clever but I wasn't born yesterday! Stay well away from them but sadly someone somewhere out there will fall for it and pay the price and get stung big time!
Count me in and well done with the new looking blog. I will add you to mine sometime today. It drove me crazy too when I was setting up my blog as it was something I had never done before. I was shouting, screaming and swearing with frustration - hubby and dogs kept well away until I was all happy and calm again

I have a long wish list of bears I would like to own and I like to think I have made a start on it
As to making a special bear - not sure that is going to happen as I am too critical and can always find something wrong
It's always exciting though to move on to the next bear because that might just be the one!
It's amazing how many perfect bears I have made in my dreams
Wishing you all a very good and happy New Year and lots of bear making happiness
Hugs Lyn
I've got a couple of those guys living around my garden and I also know when they are out and about because my dogs also get excited. I very nearly chopped one up the other day because it made a mad dash for cover as I approached with the grass cutter - had to swing a hard left to avoid him/her - thought I did a pretty smart move on the mower
:bday: MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! Thank you Tami for the daily pictures which always brings a smile to my face I wish you all an enjoyable day of fun, food and laughter and lots of lovely pressies
Hugs Lyn
What a wonderful job you have done Jane, well done you!   I'm glad you suck my head on a dancer as I love dancing
Don't know who I am dancing with but he looks very nice!
Certainly made me smile and a giggle or two - thanks Jane, way to go!!
Hugs Lyn
How nice it is to have a nosey at the Christmas trees and deco's - some wonderful looking trees! Ok, I've been a very busy person today and decided it was time to drag out the Christmas stuff and after all my hard work (hubby sat on his bum supervising, men!!)
I got the girls to pose in front of the tree to show it off
Your end got it wrong! The 'ID Recorded' is done by the Australian Post Office to indicate that the person sending the item has been identified or is know to them. These are addition security measures to assist the postal carriers and the receiving postal system. We have to produce a driver's license or some other form of ID.
There you go so they weren't dangerous kitty noses!

 At last I can join the land of Bloggers! After much shouting, swearing, table thumping, loud groaning I have my blog up and running AND my website has had a face lift
I am now ready to swop blogs with anyone who would like to and I would love to hear your comments too
Hugs Lyn
Well done Melissa and a great site and good luck to you and hope it grows and becomes a big help and interest to everyone who stops by. I have just signed up too
Hugs Lyn
I stopped by your blog - loved the drawings!
I wish you good luck in your new venture and look forward to seeing more
Hugs Lyn
 Great fun even if it is a bit of a time waster, who cares!!
