I am posting the mag to Melissa on Monday... she will love the profile I am sure..
Edie, that looks terrific.
Sorry Jane, the book is off to New Zealand to Melissa from Honeythorpe Bears as she has a super feature and profile on herself and her sweet little bears..
Having seen the profile in the mag, not only will it help you get your mojo back it has inspired me to try minis.
Your little bears are awesome Melissa......and oh so cute.....congratulations..
The magazine has been claimed...
I have a current issue of Australian Bear Creations magazine if anyone is interested in it.
It is actually 2 magazines for the price of one.
If anyone is interested in purchasing it from me either email or PM me.
received and printed.......looking forward to the postal deliveries come December..
I have just asked to join this teddybear ring too.
A couple of familiar names there I see..
Thanks again, Birgitta...
Thanks girls,
Birgitta, the guys surname (last name) is Pope not his christian (first) name..
This little bear was commissioned as a gift to a special person from a customer whoose surname is Pope, and he wanted a papal influence.
He has a needle-felted nose and a little cap made from jewelled lace, the bear not the customer..
Thank-you Elaine.
I am now working on another commission, this time it is for a gift from a person whos nickname is Pope.
Yes, he wants me to add a papal influence so his friend will always know who it is from.
Will definately post a piccie when it is done...
This little guy was a commissioned Panda.
Made from Schulte and Helmbold mohair.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Laurie...having been where you are now.
I had an unexpected turn around though and things are fine again....
Hope you find and are happy with your new life. The one thing I found was that the experiance taught me to be a much stronger woman and that I do have value in this world, whether it is on my own or with somebody..
Always be true to YOUR values and standards...
I would love to do this challenge....
Its a sad world isn't it...I am a bit angry too,
I think it does come down to personal choice...I hand sew everything bears and any hats etc....
I have a sewing machine but as we have not long moved here it is packed away somewhere...
I am using Polar Bear, however some of the ones that you have mentioned in this thread, yummy...may have to change it...
Melissa, what a great TT you are..email coming pronto..
Thanks for stepping up for us Melissa. My email is on its way..
I used to try and list on e-bay every 7 days but have cut it back to one a month...as it has been very quiet of late..just to keep the fees down..
I have done a couple of remakes...
Fern before...
Fern after...
She does look very different..
Me too
They are all wonderful Lynette, and your roses look superb.
My roses are only in bud at the moment, waiting for some heat in the day to open them...
Hope the dental visit goes well for you and there is not too much pain,,,
