I hope you guys like my pictures, I've learned a lot by logging onto Teddy Talk (Lurking a lot haha) I've only been doing this for less than a year. And I recently Signed up on Teddy Talk. By coming on to this site, I've already noticed a difference in my skill and learned how to make my own designs. It's so much easier to create my own designs, than to copy from books and patterns.(I'm having a hard time with noses. To me, they are the most difficult. Sorry if their noses aren't perfect. haha)
Thank you for all you talented artists out there for sharing your wonderfuly bears and your great tips!
With lots of bear hugs!
Louise
I also LOVE her fabrics and accessories, its so hard to stop ordering. In one month I think I ordered 4 times and I am a beginner! I only started 3-4 months ago. I have to post pics.
I forgot to mention that it hardens also. Thanks Louise
Theres also liquid illusion, I believe thats what its called, i did use it a few times awhile back . It 's used for filling glass vases or any other glass container to make it look like there's water in the vase with silk flowers. It looks so real. Maybe you can add some food coloring to it . You should find it at a craft store.
Daphne I've been doing that with some of my mini bears( needlefelting the nose first, then do the embroidering). I find it much easier. Being a beginner it helps alot.
You won't be disappointed!!!!
I've also ordered from Sassy's, three times in the past 4 weeks. I love her fabric too ! When I received the first order and saw how nice it was, I ordered again. You be disappointed.
Sorry, I meant put it aside , while your making your bear. I like to finish my bears the same day. Like you said it will never find its way back.
I hope I said that right. I pull out the wool for each piece and put them aside( so I know I have the same amount , instead of pulling out the amount one at a time as Im making a leg or an arm).
I use to do the same thing when I started. I had spare parts also. What I started doing was taking the same amount of wool for each leg/arm and found it to be easier, I haven't had a spare part since. It works for me!
I Think she is so so cute, I love the color too!! It's my favorite color.
Hi!!! Im also new to the bear making fun. Once I made my first bear ,that was it, I WAS HOOKED!!! I aso would like to say how talented all of you are. I Have been with you all everyday(reading your posts) I also just started to try needlefelting, that is so much fun. Well ladies I would also like to learn how to do open mouth minis, scissor sculpting, and also armatures on minis.
