I'm ready.  And, I have an idea.  How about wire armatures in small or mini bears????   That's something I've always wanted to try but don't know how.

You know I would like to see that ALSOOOOOOOOOOO !

I have done them in dolls that are soft sculpture bodies and sculpted faces and hands but not on a jointed bear. But I have been thinking about it. Maybe I can come up with a GOD inspired idea like I did with the jointing system that I shared in the mimi bear. bear_grin  Some times I just get a vision  and when I try it ... it works  bear_grin So I know it doesn't come from me.Know what I mean?

Bears can be how ever heavy you want them but.... remember shipping cost !! You can use allot of things to stuff with. Poly fill, excelsier , plastic beads, glass beads, steal beads, Or a combo of these items to get desired weight. I have felt some bears feel like  a small child and others weigh nothing . So it is up to you.

But good question. Some bears are weighted in the butt to help them set up  bear_grin Some use plastic pellets to do that .

I am not the best one to teach scissor sculpting because I use such short fur but I will think about that one.

I was maybe leaning on doing another Christmas project, some thing simple that every one can do. bear_grin  But I haven't decided yet, I was just wondering if any one was ready for another class , and it seems so .... Now I have to get my act together and figure out what sooooooooo keep the ideas coming and when one strikes my interest I will jump on it  bear_grin  To bad we don't all live close. Wouldn't it be fun to get together once a month and all make the same thing at once, share ,Gab and EAT !!!

My scissor sculpting skills are probable rusty because for the past 2 years I have been working on very short fabric ( except for my angel bear) and have only have had to do mimimal sculpting. Soooooooooo Don't know if I could share much.  But I am still thinking ...I promise. I have my best friend down with breast cancer right now and allot of my down time is going to her , sorry guys that I haven't started any thing yet. She had her surgery this last Tuesday and things are so scary.... But I promise when I can I will share something. Between a 40 hour work week and my friend and keeping my home going I have used up all my extra time for now. But I do need something to get my mind off things. Thanks so much for your interest. Love ya guys !!!

Oh Jodi I am so sorry for what your friend is going through. For sure she need you now, just concentrate in giving her positives thoughts and love and when you need some down time, come to us.
I'll be praying to our Lord to help both of you to go through hard dark times and come back into the sun.

I've been gone more often than not the last 2 weeks....or 3....So I am not sure what all has been said....

been designing new gollies....it amazes me how absolutely demanding they are.

So...when I think Jodi Falk I think of the whimsical expressions your bears have....Few are able to get more expression in such a small amount of space....and without their expressions they wouldn't be anything special at all, and yet, they are so special, because of the expressions....

Oh dear i am going in circles today...

so expressions, an opportunity to learn new methods of injecting expressions onto our kritters would be highly interesting

or if you are interested in a Christmas themed thing how about a tree topper?

totaly out to lunch,
gollyhugs

Well Miss Jodi,  don't you worry a lick about us for now.  Your plate is full.  I will keep you and your friend in my prayers and ask my friends to do so as well.  (We have a pretty good prayer chain.)   When you are ready, I vote for a fun Christmas project too.  Take care of yourself, ya hear now?
