Your grandaughter is so sweet Sandi ! How lovely of her to choose my tree too !  To think all the "men" in my house
were less than impressed with it - ha ha I'll show them !!

But the acres of fabric , strange paraphernalia and mountain of stuffing scare me stupid      I really like big bears

Oh yes Kelly - reading your story truly gave me a lump in the throat !    With all the glitz and
glamour of Christmas we should all try , even in a small way to "give a little" to help someone less fortunate ; and spare plenty of kind thoughts  :hug: 

The prezzie that I got most excited about as a child was my Sindy horse ; rich brown , with a brushable mane and tail , and accessories ! Tiny little brushes , a bucket ,
and a saddle and bridle to take on and off !!! I was overjoyed to receive him , and straightaway gave him a ridiculous name : Pentagon Gleam the First ,  :redface:
as , obviously he was a famous showjumper ( he could vault big books  :crackup: ) Oh , the devoted hours .... Guess who he really belonged to ???

Mostly the "other" supplier I use for mini fabrics is Dinky-Do supplies . I know Vanessa will be at the TBAE in June (with the Teddy Bach Hug stand)
and they do take supplies to some other fairs . You can get a catalogue , but I don't think there's an online store ....
I hope you'll show us how your little-y turns out ; sure it will be fab Jenny !

Sandi ,I've got one (two , three !  )
I'm afraid a tree at Christmas wouldn't be enough - the green one has pride of place in the lounge , and the
new white one has turned my dining room in to a fairy grotto ! The other pic is my tiny "rustic" one on top of the
dining room dresser ; under it are my new babies who have come to spend all their future Christmases with me !

Although I LOVE Jane Austen and Dickens , Wilkie Collins and Thomas Hardy I must make honourable mentions
for 2 more favourite books ; "To Kill a Mocking Bird" ( I missed "hearing" the characters for days after I finished it )
and "Gone With the Wind" - a truly awe inspiring book on so many levels  I've read it 3 times , and I know     
I will read it ( and cry in the same places  ) many more times !!!! EPIC !  :clap:

Ooooohhh ! I love your tree Sandi ! Very grand ! In my house I'd never be allowed to have the tree put up 'till at least middle of December   
In my mind my tree always looks classy , coordinated , and hung with unusual / delightful ornamentation . In reality it probably looks like
some mad person has thrown "stuff" on it in desperation !!!  :crackup:  I confess to having , like , 11 boxes of Christmas deco's

What a gorgeous baby you've got . I hope you won't mind me posting a pic of my Pap ; Lilah . She is 5 yrs old now , and
every inch a lady    She's very prim and proper (and precious about her feet and tail !!) Seen here with her little "sister" (Chi') Delphi
who has grown her ears to match ! I would have to say Papillons are the most bootiful , intelligent , gentle dogs - but I'm not biased  !!  :crackup:
