Oh Samantha....you have been so much on my mind...thank goodness you had enough warning to store some water....but its so awful for you. Are you able to get out of the house to get supplies, or are you surrounded by water? I hear on TV the army are now involved in delivering bottled water. You stay safe
and hopefully it will get better soon.....big hugs to you

Hi Jenny....I worry quite a lot about the particles I breathe in, like you I also get this tightness in my chest from time to time. I try and force myself to wear a mask when doing a lot of clipping, but can't stand to keep it on for long. Like Ellen I have a small hand held vacuum that I use all the time, and mostly work with my workroom door to the garden open. I often think I am putting myself at risk for the future, but there again like yourself I thought that when I did the hairdressing (with all the chemicals hair etc.) The air cleaner sounds a good idea... but would it be powerful enough?...perhaps someone else has tryed this...I would be really interested to hear other artists thoughts on this too....
I suppose what we need to find out, presumably from the suppliers who have a duty of care to pass this sort of information on...is whether the materials we use are considered to be hazardous, with long term exposure. It maybe worth checking the HSE (health and safety executive) website for any publications or studies on the materials we use......anyway just a thought....and I'm waffling now...good topic though!!!!
Hugs Yvonne
Samantha....hope you are OK.....it looks quite scary on your blog...thinking of you, and pray
the water subsides soon! Take care....
Hugs Yvonne
Thanks for letting us know Margaret.....I thought something was not quite right as I PM her the other day and got no answer....which is so unlike Jane. Please tell her she is in my thoughts and to get better soon .....although knowing Jane she will be more concerned with her computer not working and not being able to post here, than herself!
Oh...and welcome to Teddy Talk Margaret!
Hugs Yvonne
Hi Chloe....fabulous pictures! hard to choose....but I think 2 has just got the edge for October...difficult choice though!!!
Hugs Yvonne
Wishing you every happiness in your new home Christine.....and just adore your minis
Hugs Yvonne

Scary stuff watching all this on television last night...like Jane said we have been really lucky here in Buckinghamshire. Samantha...great pictures... you must have been really worried for a while..
hope things are still improving, and you are slowly getting your garden back!
My son has just returned from the Glastonbury Festival....mud bath...so you can imagine the state he returned home in!!! My washing machine is still in shock!!!
Lets pray for some summer weather soon!!
Hugs Yvonne
Oh Daphne....I do exactly the same as yourself... I try hard to find a name that suits the bear and pray that the collectors will like it. I have in the past had a prospective new owner reject a bear simple because they associated the name with a person the really disliked, although they loved the bear!
So in my view yes...I do think it matters. So now I try to avoid popular human names, and look for the more unusal..but I suppose inevitably we are still going to get it wrong from time to time!
Hugs Yvonne
