Oh MY, now that's a shiner! Ouch!
I personally have never knocked myself out like that, but when I was in high school my best friend bent over in the bathroom and knocked herself in the middle of the forehead on the corner of the sink. She had this huge bruise right between her eyes, and she was too embarrassed to admit what she'd done so she told everyone she said something nasty to me and I hit her! I thought, "Now wait a second, that makes me look mean!" lol but I guess she thought that was a better alternative to whapping herself in the forehead with the sink.... lol

OK, I already replaied to your email, but I didn't get to see that last pic in the original post. Ohmigoodness ohmigoodness, I am SO in love with that one! Why oh why do you have to live so far away!!!!!

Wow, great video, Peta! Thanks so much for sharing! It's truly awe inspiring to see just how this material we make our bears from is and has been made for more than a century! A little humbling!

What did you finish today, Dorothy?
You know, there may be more bear makers out there and nearer you than you think.... When I first started, I met a lady at Jo-Ann fabrics who made teds from patterns as gifts... it was strange, she was pretty nice until i told her I didn't use patterns, then she got really short with me. Oh well...... lol

I just posted about this little string of emails you and Kathy are getting in Kathy's post, but thought I would post here too. Krista, you already know I LOOOVE your kitten, and please don't let this person stop you from creating them. Every artist has their own techniques, spin, and 'look' about their creations, and if there was only one bear maker, cat maker, dog maker, mouse maker (I suppose I could go on.... lol) how boring would the collecting world be???
By the way, I just listed a polar bear cub.... I'd better not see ANYONE make a polar bear cub, as it was my idea first.... this week... I think....

Kathy,
I couldn't have responded any better; good for you for standing up for yourself, and in a mature, calm manner! I received an email quite some time ago about supposedly copying someone else's work and was so furious I had to stop and reread my reply many times over just to make sure I hadn't lost my head! lol I'm glad you don't feel like you are copying anyone else by making a cat (or ANY other animal)... we are all artists, and the wonderful thing about art is the freedom of expression we have through it. Absolutely no one should receive emails like that for being creative.... there's enough room for all of us!
And by the way, both yours and Krista's cats are completely DARLING.... I'd be sad if I didn't see more! Perhaps I need to make a mouse to go along with your cats!

Oh my GOSH, that's high! They must package it REALLY WELL. It also says buyer must pay return shipping cost.... I wonder if it's that amount AGAIN????? hee hee
It really pays to pay attention to the details....

Thank you Marlys!! I saw him; what an adorable cutie!!! Great job, Sue Ann!

Thanks, you gals, sooo much! I know I reeeaaaally need to work on it and get it more.... involved... but I just really wanted to FINALLY get it going as I've had the domain name for over a year now!!
lol
Amelia, I KNOW! I had all these big dreams for an awesome website, then when I started actually DOING it, I was like, "Ummmm, what do I type???? And WHERE????" lol
Deb, FUNNY and accurate analogy! lol it IS!! All the way up to it being over and finished and you thinking, "Whew, that was worth the hard work...." Although I do still maintain that all my hard work just doesn't seem to have been reflected in how much my site actually HOLDS. lol
Thank you Christine!!! :)

Hi all, I've FINALLY built and published my website. It's certianly not as pretty or nice as many of the websites I've seen, though! My mediocre skills at site building has caused me to spend hours upon hours just to get what you'll see on my site.... BUT, it's up and running finally!!!

hee hee hee hee hee, look at that FACE! Isn't that a Clumber Spaniel? LOVE him!
Kimberly W.
Dear Gaby, I wish the very best for you, your dad and mom. I'll say a little prayer; I hope you all are OK!

Oooo, look at him! I looooove him! I'm such a sucker for big dogs.....

Wow, Danni! Fabulous! Keep healthy and take good care of yourself!

Thank you so much, Pauline! I've never truly had to pair 2 like-pattern bears up before, so I was worried they just wouldn't look right together!

Hi all, I am not sure if any of you are aware of a technique burglars use called lock bumping, but PLEASE watch this video. It could protect your home. If you've seen it already, OK, but I just wanted to make sure all of my TT friends were aware!
If this doesn't work, the link is below to watch it.
