Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

I got my starter kit of needles for my bear class. Can anyone explain to me about
the different needles the T or S and what is used for what.......................
The T shape is triangular at it's point, while the S shape is star shaped, with four edges and corners or angles.

I'm starting out on needle felted toes!

collection and she emailed me
awhile ago and said he was ready.  His name is CHI (Little One)
I'm so excited he is soooooooooooooo adorable! I just love him, I can't
wait to get my hands on him!!

Thats a cute bear & kitty!

I am into day 3 on my bear class and I am really lovin it! I'm doing the open mouth bear class, I don't have a ton of experience designing bears but everything so far has been very easy to understand and pics are great, I'm more of a pic person if ya know what I mean.  And I have already learned a few easy steps I didnt know about so  I'm sure I will be taking more clasess with E-BearZ University!

The Joy of Making Teddy Bears

When the fur finally arrives I look and see
And think to myself what kind of bear will this be
Will I use the mohair or alpaca so bold
What colour will I select, brown, beige or old gold
A limited edition or one of a kind
If only I could decide and make up my mind
Will I make it big or will I make it quite small
I could make it fat, or thin, or just rather tall
Will I use my black antique shoe buttons for eyes
Or just stick to black glass and hope for a surprise
How about the paws, will I use wool felt or suede
I really don't know yet and I'm rather afraid
To start drawing and cutting for once I begin
There is no turning back so I'll just dig right in
When the fur starts to fly and each tiny wee piece
Begins to take shape then I feel such a release
And think to myself no more tension or worry
As this sweet little bear so cuddly and furry
Is making me smile with every stitch that I sew
As his sweet face takes on shape I just start to glow
There is nothing more splendid that can so endice
One to create something so innocent and nice
You can tell by my poem, I love making my bears
You've discovered my secret for ending life's fears

Much of the beauty we find in nature
Appears as the result of dramatic changes

Glaciers carved out majestic mountain ranges
Volcanoes produced breathtaking beaches and
Thunderstorms return precious moisture to the earth

Even fruit trees must sometimes be severely pruned
In order to make them stronger and more productive

So too it might be God's plan for us
to experience dramatic changes in our lives
In order to become the people He intends us to be

Sheila, if your life is being "pruned" now,
although it is painful,
it just may be God's way of making you stronger

I wish you strength to accept the challenge and
God's gentle love to guide you....

We did some touch up painting on our baseboards since we got the new tile
put in!
And planted some shasta daisies in the front flower bed!   
It is 89 here today in aurora, colorado so that is warmmmmmmm for them! LOL
Not for me, I'm from Texas so 89 is nothing! LOL
My hubby is about to have a heat stroke! LOL LOL
