What beautiful birdies ! ! ! !
Debbie, you are such a good horse mommy. All ponies should be so lucky.
My cousin, who owns an alpaca farm in Kentucky, sent me a huge bag of the softest, finest wool. I think it was the wool sheared from one alpaca. It's black and dark gray, so that limits it's use a bit.
My question: Do I have to do anything to it to start felting it? It is very clean, no smell or bits of straw. There are some little lumps here and there.
I can't help you with your email problem, but I was wondering how you're doing with the flooding in Austin. Is everything OK for you?
Sounds like a great holiday, even if it has to be delayed. Hope everything works out smoothly.
It's now taking months to get a passport here in the U.S. because they are now required to travel into Mexico and Canada. Everyone is scrambling for a passport at once.
Hi Melanie, and welcome ! ! ! I used to sew all of my bears by hand until I developed "trigger finger" from so much hand sewing and had to have surgery on my hand. Now I sew them on my sewing machine. Take care of your hands ! ! ! I can't imagine not being able to make bears.
Yes, Shelli, you can still have the priority mail boxes delivered to your home free. I just ordered and received a bunch.
Oh yes, count me in too. I love making clown bears ! ! !
Brenda, I just love your little duckies ! ! !
Oh, I love him Sandi.
What a sweet, sweet face ! ! ! I can see why she got snapped up so quick. I agree with Judi, your knitting adds such a special touch.
I agree, I'd say it's definately NOT legit.
A huge congratulations to you Marion and your son and daughter-in-law too. How exciting ! ! ! ! What a precious little one she is.
Yep, Sarah, that's it. Absolutely gorgeous ! ! !
Shelli, I love hydrangeas too. Have you seen them in Washington state? The soil must be perfect for them there because the colors are so intense; dark blue, purple.
Here's a pic of a bouquet of roses I picked in our yard when we lived in the SF bay area a few years ago. I think there's a Chicago Peace or two in there.
Congratulations Peta ! ! ! You have BEAUTIFUL children.
Jared, I wonder if what you had was really an Angel's Trumpet if it smelled bad. Mine had a very pleasant flowery fragrance. I bought it at Long's Drug store and it was about 18 inches tall. I replanted it into a bigger pot and it didn't do very well, so I planted it in the flower bed and it took off. Within the year it was at least 10 feet tall and bloomed like crazy. I had another one in the back yard in a pot that was the prettiest pale pink color but it didn't do as well as the one in the ground. We moved from the SF bay area to the foothills where I can't grow any flowers because of the deer.
I love the Double Delight too, but my favorite rose is the Chicago Peace. It's huge and yellow and pale pink.
Wow, beautiful flowers ! ! ! I can't grow flowers here either because of the deer, but this was in my front yard in our old house in Concord, CA. This is a Brugmansia, or, Angel's Trumpet. They are extrememely fragrant in the evening. I used to open the window and front door to smell them in the house.
Jodi, I sent you an email.
He's amazing Judi. You're awesome ! ! !
Shantell, you'll really know you're getting old when you start lying about your childrens' ages, like my mom does. (She's 78, kids 54, 52 & 49)
I was so happy when my kids got their licenses because I was so tired of hauling them around to soccer, softball, swim, basketball practices, voice lessons, dance lessons, clarinet lessons, play rehearsals, etc, etc, etc. What a relief it was when Tracy got her license to drive herself and Paige around ! ! !
Oh my gosh, Jenny. Kittie is absolutely prescious. Her recipient will be thrilled, I'm sure.
Jane, you'll have fun looking after these doggies ! ! ! They look like sweet dogs. I know this is about the dogs, but I couldn't help noticing your wonderful kitchen. Is that an Aga stove? If so, you lucky duck. I've always wanted one. I love your cabinetry too.
HI Connie, I use propay too and I'm happy with it.
Isn't this just the best thing since sliced bread??? I agree wholeheartedly Anita.
Lisa, she is toooooo cute.
