mmmmm.... I must confess.... My name is Roxanne.... and I am a blonde....... :P
I have been addicted to the bottle...<bleach bottle>.... since I was 17 years old.
You know what they say, "Blondes have more fun!"
Oh Penny!
You sound like such a fun gal to be with! You have a very lucky family to have a mama and wife with such a great sense of humor
Dear Penny,
My hubby saw it on one of those news channels with them calling it their "15 minutes of fame" video.
My daughter is a backstreet boys fan so we had to see if we could find it on the net. Not only this one but several other videos of these boys doing backstreet boys songs and a couple other in their born language. She just plays one after another and laughs and laughs at these "clowns."
Like you said, it's great to see young people that have a sense of humor like this
Oh Deb, so sorry you cant get it to work.... maybe if I give you the address and you can cut and paste it in the address bar???
Congratulations! She is such a sweet baby angel
WOW! Totally awesome
How about the name KITO: Swahili name meaning "precious."
 Congratulations Shelli
You are a top notch bear artist
We are very proud of you!
What a beautiful bunny! She is so pretty :rose:
I love the expressions you put on your critters!
Amanda,
Jimmy Durante is in old actor/comedian that was very well known for his big nose. :o
He would tip his hat to the side, shake his head and say...
AhhhChaaaChaaa....
Penny,
Joshua is a sweet baby angel!
I love them when they are at this age. So fun to play with. :rose:
Is he your first grandchild?
Oh Ginnie! Vermont sounds glorious....
Living here in west texas all I can do is dream about being in a state such as yours. I have always told my husband that if we were ever to go on a second honeymoon it would be up yonder in your neck of the woods...
You will have to post a picture for us all to see
Dear Estelle,
No sore point touched here :rose:
I know alot of people that already have their Christmas shopping done!
Yes there are some places and people that get carried away with the Christmas season. But I for one love seeing the lights and decorations. I love riding around town to see it ALL!
You just asked a simple question about a favorite song, thats all. As a matter of fact, people in our business have to think very early about making bears ahead of time to be ready for Christmas gifts.
I was raised in a small town in Colorado and I remember "Trick or Treating" in a foot of snow with my paper grocery bag. In that type of weather, it just made the holidays run so much closer together.
Some enjoy it and some don't. I for one cant wait to get my "Christmas Story" dvd out and sit with my mohair in hand and create that bear for someones special gift.
Positively Gorgeous!!

Hi Estelle,
hmmmm... I love them all, but my very favorite Christmas song is "Silver Bells."
Hi Marie,
It's baby powder.....
Oh my.... What a tear jerker
<as I wipe the tears off my keyboard...>
Thanks gals ;)
Cassie is part of a fairly large orchestra at her school. They have a regular symphony orchestra and a smaller elite group called "Satin Strings." Cassie is first chair cello in both. This last January Satin Strings were invited to play at the Convention center where the Texas/Wyoming Ball was during the Presidential Inauguration.
Here is a page that has some of the pics that were taken at the ball. The kids had so much fun. They "stroll" around with their instruments.

Happy Halloween!
This is a pic of my daughter Cassie at their High School orchestra concert.
Happy Monday morning all!
I found this clip and wanted to share it with you.
It is soooo cute.
I hope that you can play it, make sure you have your sound on.
Oh Yeah!! Wish you loads of luck
I Love your gollies!!! So sweet!
Dear Judi,
What a day huh :/
So sorry to hear about Artifact... By the picture I have seen of you in a magazine laying on a cow, I could tell right away that they mean a great deal to you.
The biz with ebay just adds fuel to the fire. Were you able to relist the auction after registering with Mission Fish?
I hope that tomorrow brings you a brighter day
Well, that goes to show us ebay has evolved so, that they really do not know how to handle problems like this. We have to be our own "watch dog" to see if we are being ripped off! I know that I have seen a bear of mine being sold by the person that had purchased it. They had almost the same description written word for word as when I listed, and pictures from my original auction. My answer would be for us to remove the pictures from our "host" so that it will not be available on the ebay auction. But anyone can lift a picture from our auction to use later. Also, I have listed using ebays format when I was in a hurry to get it on. I have not been able to figure out how to remove the pictures once they have been uploaded to ebay. I know that we had talked about ways of using different formats that can not have the pictures copied, But it just seems so crazy to me that we have to go so much further that we have to and spend more and more money to sell a bear. Yes we do it because we love making bears, but we have to be honest with ourselves here.... we would not be doing this with auctions and websites if we we did not want to make a profit, or be able to purchase something without having to wait till the next pay period. I have been on a rant today, which is not like me, I appologize. But dont we all get to the point where we want to say enough is enough with the cheating and the lies and the stealing.
mmmm, Judi are you sure you are not from the south? <teehee> My Texan hubbys favorite is spam and scrambled eggs with hot sauce It's really not too bad.
Thank you Nancy,
I myself am considering my next auction as a private one. I guess it will not hurt to mix things up a bit to see what works best... right?
One thing that I have noticed when with my non-private auctions is that there are bidders that bid on certain type of bear. For example, If I make a fluffy fu-fu girly type bear, or a traditional type, or open-mouth, there is almost aways the same bidders on that one style of bear. Has anyone ever noticed this trend?
Hey Kim,
Does it show the bidders ebay name and their e-mail address with the private?
I'm having another blonde moment here...
It was also mentiond how difficult it is the the buyers now aday too. For example, my brother who is very new to ebay came across a 69 camero in imaculant condition for $5,200.00 It also said that it would be delivered to his front door. After he was in contact with the guy via e-mail the auction was stopped by either ebay or this guy, the guy said that my brother would be hearing from ebay on how to make the money transfer. My brother was telling me all this and I am freaking out!! First, if it sounds to good to be true, it is. I asked my brother what this sellers name was so that I could check him out. He gave it to me and sent me all the letters that were sent to him from ebay. Well, this seller was from the Indiana, he had not sold or bought anything in 2 years, when my sis in-law spoke to him on the phone he had an Arabic accent, the car was coming from Ireland and the money was going to a money-transfer agent in Germany!! I'm like OH MY GOSH! Stop right now! Send every bit of information that you have to the spoof@ebay.com address right now. They did and as we all know, it was a scam. So this guy still kept sending my brother e-mails that were suppose to be from ebay asking them if the deal was final and all. So to mess with this guy, my brother sent him a e-mail saying that he knew someone with the airlines and was going to check out the car in Ireland! And come back with it to the states. The guy stopped writing them.... But now they are so upset that someone could really take advantage of them, and not expect to be caught. They are really in shock right now and do not know how they can bust this guy. Other than they have sent all the information they received to ebay.
Well, there ya go.
Deb,
I am sooooo happy to see your beautiful bears! They are true works of art
