Hey, I've been playing around on my computer and having great fun. I downloaded a free program and I just love it. It is called 'Google Earth', just go to google and type it in and you will find it. The programme allows you to view the whole world and zoom into places. I have just being looking at an airpot in Japan and I could even see the numbers on the aircraft. I saw the Grand Canyon and New York Paris and Rome. It's endless you can change the view and fly straight down over the cities or fly over them as if you were actually flying in a plane.

Boy does that conjure up some thoughts.........maybe thats just the naughty bears that we see in the shops...you know, the ones doing nasty things... THE BAD TASTE BEARS.
Now there's no way our little darlings would do anything to hurt a child ...thats if the collectors that we sell them to listen to what we all tell them

Boy can I agree with that one! I feel stressed doing nothing. After the eight times that I have been in hospital lately I know all about stress through not being able to do anything. The last time (last week ) My daughter bought in the Harry Potter book and when I felt a little better I started to read the book for the second time (I love it!) and that really helped. I've just bought myself a personal disk player for next time then I can lay back and listen to Harry on CDs.
I drink only water and know it does me good. I used to drink diet coke a LOT but was told just how bad the Aspartame is for us so I stopped drinking it. Boy did I feel unwell for a couple of weeks I had withdrawal symptoms like you wouldn't believe. I shook and had stomach cramps. After a while I started feeling better than I had for years...NO MORE ASPARTAME for me!!!!!
It's quite hard to find a drink without this rubbish and as I don't drink tea or coffee I don't have a lot left that I can drink.

If you look at my avatar you will see that the bear is definitely a girl. Look at the bear below, which was made from the same pattern and you will see it is definitely a boy. I made the nose larger on the boy and made the filtrum line a little longer than the girl bear's.

Not that I'd ever wish to change our darling Wonks, but hey Wondydoo I hope those wretched headaches can be sorted once and for all. It must be terrible having such pain!

My daughter Eve loves rats and has had many pet rats over the years. I decided to make her one for Christmas one year.............I hate rats...well the mohair one that I was making anyway! The real ones are so cute and intelligent so I should slap my wrist for saying that........but back to the story . I cut out a template for the rat and started working on the head, which although rather different to my usual bears heads I managed reasonably well..until....I had to do the nose....three times I stitched the nose...twice I threw it across the room declaring I hate rats...a few, or one heck of a lot of deep breaths later I finally finished the head...I had not thought how skinny a rats hands and feet really are...more growls and eventually he was finished. I was so pleased that Eve loved him cause I sure didn't! :)
Guess what.............I've never made another rat!

I'm just loving these storys and the pictures are so cute. Lani in his graduation cap had me smiling,bless him. As for the cat pictures, beautiful. I love the cat by the TV. My doll Holly runs full pelt at the TV when there are animals on the screen all except chimps, they must look too human for her. Keep the storys coming girls and guys...........Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhm! We seem to be a bit shy on guys.............come on you guys where are you all!!!!!!!!!

When I find that there is a crease in my mohair or the fur won't lay evenly I wash the mohair in just warm water. Then I hang it on the clothes line and whist it is still wet I brush the fur in the right direction. Let it air dry. I have found this to be an excellent method but do not use something to harsh to brush it with as you may pull on the fur, I use a small teasle brush that was made for mohair. I advise against cutting on the bias as the fabric may not keep a good and even shape.

Just love the story Gina! No grossing out here. I too have an autistic son so I can relate to the peeing in the great outdoors. My son saw a dog watering a tree and copied the dog, not easy standing on one leg trying to do the inevitable when your just four. This was the one and only time he did it as he didn't enjoy the bath and change of clothes that had to follow his attempt.

Oh, what a cutie. Just look at those eyes. Was this his special gift or was he just helping? My dogs love Christmas and like all the family get gifts. They spend their time pulling open the gifts and then shredding the paper. On Christmas day they always go out for their walk wearing red Christmas bows and tinsel.
