Aww, love his wee face
He looks perfectly like a bear to me
Aww, love her
Those look great, thank you from myself and Spike I'm going to crawl out of the flat and hit Borders on the vague off chance they might have something like that, but either way I think I'll probably order them!
Aww, he's adorable, I love his nose!
Aww, he's lovely
Aww, sorry to hear about your dog, hope he makes a full recovery
I finally finished my bear today, my very first one I've done completely from scratch, but he's driving me nuts. He's very insistent he wants a coat, and I cannot work out how to make one (I have made him a hat though, he's quite satisfied with that). I've never made clothes for any of my bears before, so this is something of a new challenge.
It needs to be sewn as I can't knit or crochet (and have wool allergies anyway), so I'm trying fleece as I have loads of that. I tried adapting a pattern from a teddy making book I had, but it was kind of combining a blouse sleeve with a waistcoat/vest, and, er, the best I can say is it would fit a bear with a wider back and narrower arms So anyway, I'm pretty sure it can be recycled in the future by cutting down the back for a smaller bear, and effectively removing a chunk as seam allowance, but it was wrong in several ways for this bear
So does anyone know where I can get clothing patterns for bears? I've tried looking up doll clothes patterns online, but couldn't find anything that would work, somebody please help save my sanity, and stop Spike from glaring at me!
Very sweet, love the wee cup and fortune cookie
Well I guess given how small pygmy hippos are, their babies would be tiny! How cute
Billy Bob looks like a little guy with attitude, hope he doesn't throw a fit and wake Daisy up
Very nice, that huge blue bow really sets off his eyes
Oh those mystery books sound very cool, must see if I can hunt some down!
Aww, we got post again this morning finally, hope it returns with lots of cards for her. I took a friend's Flat Stanley for her wee boy last year all over Scotland - as I was on holiday for a couple of weeks I went a bit overboard and he ended up with a blog too to keep the kids in Illinois up to date
Amazing - looks like he's late for a very important date!
What fun, I do like your dragon wings with the bells
Very cute. It's funny how many bears are black IRL and we don't see many black teddy bears!
What fun, hope they do well for you
aww, how teeny and cute!
She should still be able to sit up, just flatten off at the bottom between bum and tummy
Well that looks cosy!
if I want my bears to be more ample of posterior, I just make a more marked curve from the bottom of the back - I've seen some almost a right angle at the start of the curve round. You can do the same at the front for a generously proportioned tummy.
My smaller bears just give me smaller hugs, or we have a group hug-in
Aww, so sweet
Hee hee, love the week antennae and nose
