I am confused...this is a confusing topic.  On the one hand I would never want to copy another artist work but on the other hand...is therre any combination of bear parts that hasn't been done?  I see all the beautiful bears show cased on here and there is not a one that I haven't seen done before I don't think...Different colors different fur perhaps but come on...after all these years it's all been done before!
I recently made a bear with bent legs and arms and after she was finished, I found a pattern with her bent legs and arms.  So I copied a pattern that I hadn't seen yet????  So sorry!

Does anyone know if there is some faux fur that has no polyester in it?  I really like the thick, lush feel of it!  Also, I was thinking about a nice wool bear.  I really love the one in Lovable Bears...

Peony is my fifth bear.  I love her pretty fur.  She was a joy to work with, especially after the faux fur! Peony is 18 inches 45 cm tall. Her fur is a beautiful pink mohair...

If you want to fill one with sand just use your hacky sack pattern...works great!

I wouldn't send liquid or honey...I sent molasses (made in our area) and it burst open on the plane and destroyed the contents of the package...and, yes it was in a separate plastic bag which didn't hold either!

Your bear nose was great!  I did add a template this time so perhaps that was causing the slipping.  I had never added one before...
