Oh what a cute little sprite!
Daphne is right...snips into the seam allowance will make the flat spot go away!
A handsome fella indeed...
A very soulful bear he is...
Welcome Ted...what a handsome fella you are!
What a cutie!
Calla is beautiful Roxanne...best of luck with her on e-bay!
Emilie is so sweet and I love her fur. I have been doing pink mohair bears lately. I have found some yummy colors to work with...
He can come out of hiding...I love his bear!
Cassius is wonderful...just the size I love to hug!
Boy, I guess Ideal and Steff should be suing us all!!!
I am confused...this is a confusing topic. On the one hand I would never want to copy another artist work but on the other hand...is therre any combination of bear parts that hasn't been done? I see all the beautiful bears show cased on here and there is not a one that I haven't seen done before I don't think...Different colors different fur perhaps but come on...after all these years it's all been done before!
I recently made a bear with bent legs and arms and after she was finished, I found a pattern with her bent legs and arms. So I copied a pattern that I hadn't seen yet???? So sorry!
How about a stiff pelon lining before stuffing???
Oh I am so glad about the mohair...no problems with my hands!
Does anyone know if there is some faux fur that has no polyester in it? I really like the thick, lush feel of it! Also, I was thinking about a nice wool bear. I really love the one in Lovable Bears...
Her bent legs let her sit very nicely. She is a very good bear, very obedient and quiet...
Peony is my fifth bear. I love her pretty fur. She was a joy to work with, especially after the faux fur! Peony is 18 inches 45 cm tall. Her fur is a beautiful pink mohair...
I agree...such beautiful work! There are some really talented ladies here...
I love your little Plum...I just do not know how you gals make such tiny bears. I made a tiny little black bear but he was of very simple design...no details like your beautiful bear! I love Plum....
Great day to Aussie!
If you want to fill one with sand just use your hacky sack pattern...works great!
I'm with you Alison...do what you like! That is why YOU are making the bear...to please YOU!
I wouldn't send liquid or honey...I sent molasses (made in our area) and it burst open on the plane and destroyed the contents of the package...and, yes it was in a separate plastic bag which didn't hold either!
Your bear nose was great! I did add a template this time so perhaps that was causing the slipping. I had never added one before...
I love your bears!
Mine are the same design but I know I have seen some that are different so I guess it's just your choice!
Perfectly beautiful! She is just great....
