I cannot resist trying to produce oldies. I am really happy with Lisbet. She is another new pattern and just what I had imagined. She is 10" tall and her short mohair has been aged using tea and coffee. Additional aging has been added using acrylic paints. Her eyes are genuine Victorian boot buttons. Her body is softly stuffed using a combination of polyfill and plastiv beads. Her pads are German wool felt. Further details are on my blog.

Things have been SO busy since Christmas at work! As well as this, my elderly Yorkie sadly passed away and to be honest, losing him really knocked me back. I have visited TT and read the posts with great interest, but haven't felt up to posting. I finally have got around to taking a few photos of my latest efforts. They are all new designs for me. Below are photos of Romeo and Juliet. Both are made from Schulte mohair and silk mix. They are really happy little bears. Further details are on my new blog (a new venture for me - still finding my way).
Personality plus!
She is just beautiful.
Wow Sue. I really love this guy. He looks a lovely cuddle! Who could resist?!

It is such a lovely idea to create a bear that incorporates all your favourite things. I love the idea and the bear!

Absolutely adorable. Wonderful!
Wow, such a sweet, adorable bunny! You MUST be delighted with her. Her more delicate shape makes her look younger and more vulnerable!

As the owner of two Maltese...adorable. I love her!
I have suffered with tennis elbow (very painful) and other joint pains in the past. I found glucosamine and MSM supplements very helpful.

Josh is lovely. That fur is great!
My advice would be...Remember that everyone's taste in bears is different...so please yourself! We don't all march to the same drum. (Thank goodness!
My second piece of 'wisdom' is that if something I am making just won't go right and it starts to fluster me, I leave it 24 hours and look at it with fresh eyes the next day. It's amazing how many problems solve themself overnight.

I just love the whole concept. So nostalgic ...and very cute bears, too.
Thanks, Sue!
He is a sweetheart. I love the way you have sculpted his muzzle and those big, loving eyes!
Many thanks, Kim. I am a great admirer of your work,so your comment means a lot!

Thanks Carol and Becky. Although I love my semi-realistic bears, I cannot resist the face and shape of an old-timer. Not sure what it is about them, but I cannot resist the temptation of making them occasionally! Perhaps it is because I am becoming rather old and floppy myself!

There can never be enough ellies! A little charmer.
Such lovely fur and such a sad face. Just want to hug him!
He's one of my favourite colours and such a cheeky expression!
Here is Maxim, a 20 inch bear in a lovely cream, wavy, dense Schulte mohair. He is stuffed with wood wool. His paws and pads are wool felt lined with a strong cotton. He has some very gentle shading on his face. I have resisted the opportunity to 'age' him as I wanted to give him the opportunity to age gracefully with age.
He is available on Bearpile.

Just TOO cute. His hands are amazing and you have really captured that 'baby' face. Wonderful work
Luigi is great. You have captured that cockerel 'cockiness'!. I can really imagine him strutting his stuff.
Hi Richard
I have been going for about 3 years. You will LOVE it. It is a wonderful fair! Enjoy
