Well I guess it's just me, I guess customs has a thing against my bears LOL.  I wonder then why the US would enter into any form of free trade agreements if they don't have any import taxes or duties there is no benefit to them. Why are there duty free shops going into the US?  Sorry I am getting off topic here 

It very well could be luck of the draw, I know even here it's hit or miss when we have something shipped in. I can't imagine the US not having some form of import tax or duty. I think every country does that's why there are free trade agreements.  Well you guys are the lucky ones LOL.

I'm surprised by this Becky, lots of my clients get hit with duty when a bear is shipped to the US.  In fact my sister is taking four bears with her when she goes to the US on Thursday and shipping them for me so they don't get hit with import duties.

I must be doing something wrong or is there a trick to it. Most things have an import duty on them no matter the country and I'm pretty certain the US has them as well.

Make sure you keep copies of all the emails that she sent you, just in case. Those emails already prove that the work is not her's so just in case you run into issues' with Etsy you can show them those emails where she already admitted she used other pics not done by .

I agree with Joanne, no refund on the postage as that's just normal business sense and the postage is never refunded.  He's a lovely bear and like Joanne said everyone's taste is different. Perhaps this collector should stick to just buying bears at shows and not on the internet.  The refund should not happen until you have the bear back and can ensure that it has been received in perfect condition.

I am trying a vintagy (if that's a word haha) style. I have always done a bit more modern and not vintage at all,  not sure how it will come out but what the heck I wanted to try something different.  I will post a pic when I finally get it done.

Well you would think that paypal would realize there is no way this package was going to have been received by the buyer within three days.  Sheesh,  sorry this has happened, paypal can also be a pain in the butt.

Well I would attempt to track down a correct address for the company, they are an LLC (Limited Liability Company) which means they can be a partnership or an individual but they are not a corporation, and we don't recognize them in Canada as a legal entity.  I would guess they are most likely selling this app on the apple app store, so you may want to try and get in touch with Apple and explain to them the situation, they may very well pull the app for the time being until things get settled.

Best of luck, but I would attempt to locate a lawyer who deals both with Canadian and US law.
