Thanks Judi for the alert! This is a good thing, to keep everyone aware of the fraud that is going on.
I noticed that one seller is putting a note on her pictures...Property of soandso...That way, I suppose it stops them from stealing her photos. Not sure how that works. It is really too bad that ebay doesn't have the capability to police this a little better.
So sorry, Judi...you are having to go thru all this aggrevation...as if you didn't have better things to do with your time, than try to undo these liars.

Just so you know....
Glad you are back in the fold.
Nanc....
Shelli is a 'whiz kid' for sure!!! Where does she find the time to do all of these gorgeous things she does?
Very professional..congratulations Daphne and well done Shel.

Gosh, I didn't see 'Mr. Bear Squash You All Flat'...I don't know why I loved that story so much, when I was a wee one. Perhaps the little houses everyone lived in and the scarey bad guy got his upcomins!!
I found the Looney Tunes 3 bears interesting and I still love Winnie!!! He has to be one of my all time favs.
Thanks Mindy, I enjoyed that site, brought back a lot of happy memories.
Nanc......
Daphne...this is not about the bears but I have to tell you the boulder in your backyard is worth A LOT of money You must have 'rocks a plenty' where you live. That is such a gorgeous boulder...lucky girl you!!!
nanc.......
too funny !!! Poor baby
Ranae...what in the world is tofu silk? I never heard of it and is there a supplier?
And thank you Dale for the info. I too, am going to use this information.
Nanc......
Sarah, I thought the same thing...but Ebay has changed that policy. They no longer relist, they refund your monies.
Ebay quote: I would like you to know that when eBay cancels listings, we refund all
fees associated with creating the listing. At this time, however, we are
unable to actually relist auctions for our members, or send them copies
of the removed items. You are completely free to relist, at your
convenience and with the required corrections.
Thank you tho for the thought.

Oh, I know Shantell...that is one gorgeous bear.
I got this in an email and had to share it with everyone.
nanc.....
Good grief, what kind of rope was this?
Thanks Brenda...I am glad we finally have this all straightened out, because I have seen posts about this before.
I think Filipe did a wonderful job of explaining it.
I will relist tonight...ugh!!!
I think today is the 10 cent listing fee too....so that is a plus.
nancy
I wanted everyone to read the note that I just recieved from Ebay...so y'all can learn from my mistake and not have your auction cancelled.
Clearly it was my mistake, I didn't understand the technicality, BUT I do now!!!!
Thanks girls for your support, as usual...and I will paste ebays note so as to help anyone confused like I was.
I think he explains the policy very nicely and easy for all to understand.

Hello Nancy,
Thank you for taking the time to write eBay with your concerns. I'm
happy to help you further.
To begin, please accept my apologies for the upset that our
administrative action has caused. I have thoroughly reviewed the
information you have provided as well as the information in your
account. I have come to the conclusion that the appropriate action was
taken in this case in accordance to our listing policy. Please allow me
to further explain why this action was taken.
You may provide unlimited links to your About Me page from your
auctions. Unfortunately Nancy, you may not advertise the fact that users
may be able to link to your individual website from your About Me page.
For example, it would not be permitted to state:
"click on my "ME" page and follow the link to my website."
A more appropriate statement would be:
"please visit my About Me page!"
On your About Me page, you may link to your own Web site or individual
internet store where you are offering to trade, sell or purchase your
goods or services. It may not specifically promote off eBay sales or
sales of items prohibited on eBay, nor may it contain links to
commercial Web sites where goods from multiple sellers are aggregated by
a common search engine.
For example by simply stating the following on your About Me Page:
"Please visit my website www.mywebsite.com" - will be fine.
However promoting items that can be bought from your website/online
store is not allowed, for example:
"Please visit my website "www.mywebsite.com" for more great designer
clothing at a cheaper price!!!" - is not allowed.
I realize that it was not your intention to be in violation of our
guidelines and that this most likely was an honest mistake. Please
understand that this action is in no way meant to question your record
with us as a valued member of the community. However, we must strive to
maintain fair and consistent guidelines amongst all of our members.
I would like you to know that when eBay cancels listings, we refund all
fees associated with creating the listing. At this time, however, we are
unable to actually relist auctions for our members, or send them copies
of the removed items. You are completely free to relist, at your
convenience and with the required corrections.
For future reference, the best method to ensure that your listings do
not contain any information that may be problematic in terms of our
listing guidelines is to take some time to fully familiarize with our
site policies. Because our policies do evolve, we ask that you keep
current on our listing policies. You may want to take a moment to review
our various guidelines and sundry listing policies which can be accessed
by navigating your browser to the following URL:

I do appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter,
Nancy. Please do not hesitate to write back to us with any further
questions you might have. I wish you continued success on eBay.
Kind Regards,
Felipe

Hi Kim....
Geez, I see those clickable Bravenet mailing list buttons all the time in auctions. I didn't know they were 'illegal'.
My only problem with what happened is, I sure wish ebay would write you and tell you to get that off your auction before they pull it. That is so inconvenient!
I put so much work into my listings and I make them right on ebay, so I can see how they look. I know about Practiceboard...but it is easier to just make it and list it at the same time. My point in all of this is, I don't save the listing. Once it is listed, it is gone and now I have to start all over.
Well, Kim, your idea to watch out for each other is a wonderful one in theory, but I agree...I don't think we have the time to do it.
I prefer to NOT think someone did this on purpose to me, that is a depressing thought and today, I am on one of my 'natural highs' induced by... happy thoughts, birds singing outside, breakfast in the making, to eat on the veranda!!! Yep, it's going to be a great day!

Oh Erin...they are in everything. It's just a part of life. I don't really understand that mindset, what makes people do the things they do. It would be interesting to study it a bit and figure it out.
My mother used to say..."the only reason a person will tear another person down, is to make themselves look better".
That is so true and as you age and pay close attention to things that go on, people seem almost like they are programed. You can see the repetition in life...you can see it coming, so to speak because there is a certain pattern that always leads to the same climax.
It is hard to just forget it and go on...sometimes I can't...but in this instance, it's really no biggy. I need to be a little more 'swamp wise' and not give anyone the chance again to 'dob' me.
nanc........
Oh, that is so cute...thanks Chris...I love all the little sayings you girls use here on the chat.
By the way, I love your bunny avatar. That fur is just scrumptious.
nanc......
Ok, thanks Pen...now I get it!
Dang it, I have to remake the whole listing again. As if I had extra time to redo stuff...I barely have time to DO stuff!
I will be really careful now and not give these people with time on their hands and nothing to do, anymore chances to be 'dobbing' on me. Wow, that sounds a little ominous and smelly.
You Ausie gals just crack me up...what the heck is dob? Ok now, come on...explain
Not sure if I will relist Rosie Posie anyway...
nanc.......
Thanks Kelly...I guess I will just have to wait to hear from the ebay 5/0. That was my understanding as well, but I guess I was wrong.
nanc...
Thanks girls...I did contact live help and they sent me to the policy police...
Anyway, now I have to wait for an answer...the 'police' are not live help.
I said on the bottom of my auction :
"If you would like to see past friends who have found wonderful homes or would like to know when future auctions become available, please click on my ME page and follow the link to my website to sigh up on my mailing list."
My website lists my auctions that are currently on and that is all.
Oh well, what a bummer! I know that ebay doesn't react unless someone complains. They have said that before...so I guess someone complained, how lovely!!
I didn't save any of the listing, so now I have to start all over and remake it...it takes me a long time to make my listings...shoot!!!
I am a little bummed by this, but of course will get over it....just a big inconvenice for sure and it does hurt to think that someone may have wanted to cause me some grief.
hugs,
nanc......
I have a question for you girls (and boys)....Ebay just cancelled my auction for my Anime bear because they said I couldn't have a link to my website on my ME page.
I thought you could do that....I see tons of people doing that.
Am I going goofy?
I am not saying they are wrong and I am not mad or upset...just confused.
Can anyone shine a light on this? Have you had this happen?
nanc.....
She and her family will be in my prayers, Bronwen. Thank you for asking for prayers, it sounds like they need a lot right now.
nanc.........
I am the same way Paula...I just can't keep up anymore either.
It is so nice to see everyone joining in and like you I love seeing all the new bears and friends.
I hope everyone will understand why I don't leave comments on all the wonderful creations, but I would be on the computer all day, but that is not to say that I don't enjoy looking at them.
Glad someone else is feeling a little overwhelmed.
nanc..
Oh Dilu...it is so nice to see your post again. As you can see you have been greatly missed by everyone.
I do hope you will be 'playing basketball again soon'.... Did you ever?
Take wonderful care of yourself and let us know how you are doing periodically...hugs to you,
nanc.....
 I used to have the same problem and still do to some extent...especially when money is involved. But my mother-in-law...who was really bad at not being able to say no, finally realized she was killing herself doing things she really didn't want to do.......and she told me, that she finally got it thru her head
try to remember that Daphne!!!
hugs,
nanc
Hi Sarah Jane...
First my hat is off to you with all those children and you still find time for yourself...wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!
It has been my personal experience that you must keep things out there at all times. When you lag...buyers get disinterested. They love to see a 'shelf full'...so to speak.
Also, I NEVER use the featured item. I see there are lots and lots of people who do, but I can't justify the cost. Once you get established, I think buyers will seek you out and if not, as the auction nears the end, they will find you anyway...and that is ususally when they bid, right at the very end. Can't say as I blame them either.
To get started, I would suggest, keep lots of bears out there...make the prices as reasonable as you can, don't bother with the featured item thing, and above all be consistent.
It takes people a while to find you...but if your work is good, your price is right...they will find you!
I also have found that I like the 5 day auction best. Sometimes if I need time but want to keep something 'on stage'...I will run a 7 day auction, but that is rare. Only I have one running for 7 days right now  ...that's because I need time to finish an order.
Good luck...your bears are wonderful, it is only a matter of time.
Nanc....
What a wonderful illustrative story Tracy...I am so glad you shared it with us... I am going to save it on my computer.
So true, so true!
