Hi everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know that I just put my very own new Web Site together. About a month ago I asked if anyone knew of any company's that did free web sites. Many of you responded and I went with Yola the one that Joanne Livingston works with and has put together a wonderful site !!!
I signed up with them and went to work. I contacted Joanne many times for help and she walked me through many things that I needed a little advice with. What a real sweetheart. :hug:
I now have it finished and put it online yesterday. I have much more to learn but this is a start and I can update it myself and not have to pay to have someone else do it. Yay !!! Especially in this economy this is a real plus.

Only one thing when I went in to check everything I lost most of my links that I had put in because I copyed and pasted them from my old site into the new one. I guess that doesn't work. :crackup: Anyway if anyone would like to exchange links please let me know. Some of you I remember so I will just go and grab your link off of your site.

Hi Aleta,
Well this has been a very interesting thread and something I am sure many are thinking about. This economy has been very hard for so many. I have not been able to do to much in the last few months because of our move but I did get a couple of orders that I hadn't expected especially at this time. I have not lowered my prices but I have tried to make some smaller bears that are not so expensive. Like Brenda said you just have to put yourself out there on many different venues. I still do some Ebay and do find that even if I don't get more than reserve price so many people world wide may see your creation. My Blog, Facebook and whatever else I can think of seems to help. I have not done shows in probably four years now. I have a very good collector base and people still do have money, just not as many. bear_original It really keeps one on their toes to come up with new designs etc.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a web site company that does not charge a monthly fee and would be easy to update on my own. Right now it seems as though I do most everything through my Blog and was thinking of either giving up my web site or trying to find a company that does not charge a monthly fee.
Any feedback would help...

Hi Aleta,
We are back in California closer to our kids and family. So nice to be back !!! We did buy a smaller home but I love it. It was built in 1950, I just love the older homes. Still getting things done and re-done it seems. bear_original hopefully I will be back to bear making very soon.

I know from your Blog that you are a very busy girly with the little one and everything else that you do. Thanks for checking in my friend.

Hello all,
I know it has been awhile but this move has been crazy, so much to do and go through !!! I am getting there though and hopfully will be back to making some new creations very soon now.

I wanted to let everyone know that I have been going through some of my own collectables and I just posted a few dolls and a bear and baby set. We moved into a smaller house and I just have to downsize a bit. So in case anyone is interested just click on the Ebay button so you can see what I have posted.
