I need some space in my critter room for more creations. I have reduced prices on a couple of bears in my etsy shop so hopefully they will find new homes. www.dogpatchcritters.etsy.com
Yep! Dachshunds are stubborn! She looks a little gray in the face...is she a senior doxie? My two are almost 13 and 15.
Saw her on ebay...love this style!
Yes, sometimes I think our pets run our lives. In this pic they are taking their mid morning nap under my desk. In between all their naps, Lexi and Lucy are telling me it's time to eat. Lexi starts banging on things in the office, like the trash can, or knocking over piles of books. Next thing I know they are looking at me from the kitchen door like they are saying "Are you coming?". I mutter under my breath "Demanding little dogs". (wouldn't have it any other way though
)
My name came about because the private road I lived on got the name Dog Patch Lane because I was a dog breeder. I was doing craft shows, making all kinds of critters. It is actually a good thing I didn't use my name because my last name has changed several times since then  My current last name is never pronounced correctly....Dontigney = dot nee.
Absolutely love him!!
I was a Dachshund breeder for 25 years. You have captured the personality perfectly.
I decided to try ebay again. I haven't listed anything there for almost a year. http://tinyurl.com/nv6dso
I'm really having a lot of fun making Puppy Grrls. Keeping my eye out for vintage looking dog prints for their dresses. Leisal is listed in my gallery on Bear Pile. http://www.bearpile.com/detail.cgi?id=1208&item=32330
All of the buggers  are sooooo cute!
I just love the colors! Beautiful!!
Millie, a Springer Spaniel, is on ebay til 8/16 http://tinyurl.com/nv6dso
I use firefox and checked on both ebays and it looks fine.
I made a really nice book on Snapfish. I don't know if they do the title on the spine though. I took awhile to pick out backgrounds and arrange photos but I was very pleased with the end product.
Thanks everyone! The green fabric of her dress was actually the inspiration for making her a into a puppy. Terri is on her way to her new home.
Love the vintage look. Totally sweet!
Patti and a couple of other Christmas creations are available in my shop on artfire for a Christmas in July sale.

Perfect!!
New series and Terri is the first. She is available on my website.
He is just the cutest!!! My doxies not only hate the wet grass, they hate it if it gets just a little tall. You can imagine it tickles their low bellies.
These three are available on my website. Beary Daiquiri, Margarita and Blue Hawaiian
Etsy is a good place to get images. I purchased some old photos of children with their teddy bears and they were sent to me as an email attachment. Lots of people use images for scrapbooking.
I have used horse hair. It curls just like curling ribbon if you pull it(carefully) along the edge of scissors.
Gorgeous beads!! I really love the shell shaped ones. It's like you can see the ocean in them.
First, I want to say how awed I am by everyone's creation. I wish I had more time to post on each one.
This is Jaymu. My granddaughter is graduating from high school and headed to James Madison University(JMU) in the fall. I made her this little bear in the universities colors to keep her company there.
