Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Wow, these little packages everyone is getting is getting me all excited.  I am going to be away from home for a few days next week I wonder if mine will turn up then?  Hubby will have to open it for me if that is the case, take a piccie and email it to me at my sisters.....

Have you Microsoft Publisher?  If you have they have lots of different size tags and labels you can use.
I use the business card size. Originally I created two designs that I could print on the front and the back and then fold the tag in the middle. Now I use the business card size as it is.  Photos are easy to upload and resize and the printing is the same.
I only have the information I want on the front and then I laminate it.

My Christmas ornament has left my home and is winging its way to..........

I posted the following on another chat forum here in Australia but I want to share it with you too.

My eldest grandson did is first communion last Sunday in the catholic church. I asked my daughter if he had a bible and she said he didn't but  he wanted one.

Most of you would be aware that I lost my Mum 12 months ago and she was very much into her church.  I searched through some of her things and found her bible, which I gave to Lachlan. I explained to him that it was very special and that Nana Jess used it a lot and she would love him to have it.

Today I had a visit from Lachlan and he had a letter in his hand, it was a letter for my Mum. Kerryn explained that Nana wasn't here anymore but he said Nana could read it in heaven.

The envelope had these words on it

you were the best nana in the world and to me it is fact.

The letter was as follows;

Dear Nana Jess,

I miss you and I want you to come back. Just so you know I have made my first communion. I have wanted to make you this card for ages and now I have the time to write to you lots of cards and I will take lots of care with your good will bible.
I love you,
from Lachlan.

Lachlan is 9 and I really hope that this young boy continues to show the kindness he shows now, for the rest of his life.

I love him so much just like the other 6 grandchildren..

Another great ornamont,  I will be sending mine off tomorrow....

Toby, I have done something the same as you.  My 91 Mother-in-law has knitted lots of jumpers and cardigans for my bears, it gives her something to think about, and she loves to knit. 
Sadly, she has just been diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease.  Her speech has all but gone, and she has difficulty swallowing, however with this disease the mind is fine but the rest of the muscles in the body gradually shut down.
While she can she is keeping up the knitting.

Not looking forward to the next 12 months because we know it is a downhill slide for her and we can't stop it.

Daphne has covered it all I feel.  Books and definately a kit to start and then you are off and running.  Trouble is you will never stop thats for sure...

Another fantastic creation,   this is sure another great experiance on TT..

Lucky you Gemma, I have sewn mine together but have to stuff and decorate.  Probably be next week when I will be posting it off..

These little ones are terrific.  How on earth did you felt your dogs hair?  My maltese is due for a trim shortly maybe I should try that too, it sounds like a great idea to try..

I think he has turned out just great,  worth all the trouble don't you think?

Sometimes my inspiration comes from people walking down the street, especially if they are wearing something warm and furry.  I will stare and think, that would make a lovely bear.
