Does that man have a voice, and a presence, and a gentility and a grace and a warm kindness about him... or what???
I am a HUGE Morgan Freeman fan as well! Just LOVE him!

Though, I'm sure the my fascination with him is also fueled by the fact that I LOVED him on "The Electric Company as well!
ME TOO! There is just something so mild and sweet tempered, so intense and deep about him. He was EXCELLENT in The Shawshank Redemption as well! I think I could probably watch any movie with him in it...
Ok, my list of can't-walk-past movies:
-Lord Of The Rings (all 3) - although I get a chuckle EVERY TIME Sam unwraps Frodo's face from the spider web cocoon; he looked like a fair young woman! lol
-The Shawshank Redemption (You get busy livin' or you get busy dyin')
-Finding Nemo (Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. That's what I do I swim, swim, swim. I like to swiiiiiiiiiim)
-The Princess Bride (Hello. My name is Indigo Mentoya... You killed my father; prepare to die.)
-Schindler's List (the little girl with the red coat)
-Disney Movies
-Barbie movies (HEY! I have kids! lol and they're actually pretty good! )
-Pirates of the Carribean (You're the worst pirate I've ever heard of.... (Johnny Depp) But you HAVE heard of me....)
-Grease 2 (I actually liked the second one better)
Oh the list could go on...
And a MUST SEE PART of a movie - Has anyone here ever seen Me, Myself, and Irene? I didn't think the whole movie was a can't-walk-past except this scene that cracks me up:
Jim Carrey is single fathering 3 big, black extremely smart triplet boys who he truly believes are his own. They are about 11 or 12, and he's leaving for work in the car. They're all diggin in the garage, dragging out yaffa blocks, PVC pipe and whatnot and Jim's backing out of the driveway like, "Hey, what are you boys doing?" all sing-song, and they're all excited, "We're gonna build an airplane!!!" So he chuckles and leaves. Later, he's pulling into the driveway and they're all flying out of the driveway in their plane they made, using it as a runway.
Ahhh, it cracks me up....

OMGosh! I laughed out loud in my husband's ear (on the phone) HOW CUTE! They actually look like they're scooting down the road together!! I'd have bought them, too!!!!
Love em!

Hi Shelly,
Well, I'm not going to pretend to be an expert or anything, but I can give my opinion if you want it.
I don't know if you are wanting to do just minor touch up, or if you want to completely overhaul the bear.... also, more than one pic would be good. :)
If I were going to redo the bear's face, I would probably move the eyes a little further apart and down right where the nose starts to give it a more babyish look. Maybe change the nose; I love bears with big noses, so definitely keep it big, but maybe not fuzzy? Can someone chime in on this, please? I don't know what the mouth looks like, either. As for the feet, I think I would do what you did in reverse, white background with black paw pads, so those neat nails stand out a bit more. Oh yeah, and a paw pad for each nail, too!
I hope I wasn't out of line; just trying to help!
Kimberly W.
Hi Kimi, glad to see you are back! Hope you are all feeling 150% better soon! And don't you be dragging that to Lafayette!!
Kimberly W.
Yep, a chow puppy! Did they dye his fur? How adorable! I'd have one!
Kimberly W.
well, I have no time to read,
but I HAVE recently read and loved:
The DaVinci Code
all the Harry Potter Books
The Hobbit and the first Lord Of The Rings book
The Outsiders
The Yearling
I WANT to read:
Memoirs of a Geisha
I also keep wanting to write a trashy romance novel REALLY BAD! LOL I have written a young adult's fantasy novel called 'The Aldic Stone' my first and only published book. I reread it now and I see a lot of wording mistakes I made as a first timer.... ha! Once my lousy contract expires in 6 years, I want to rewrite it (because I thought the storyline was still good! lol) and re publish it with a better publishing company. My present pub. company is charging $24.95 for a paperback!!!!!!!! Who's going to pay that?!?!?!?! Should have read the fine print. hmmmmm
Kimberly W.
Oooo, shantell!! Those pics are SO CUTE! I want the little white one, or whatever color it is! Look at that, you've already gotten two of them adopted out! LOL ;)
They'd look perfect next to my little fuzzy hopper mice in the other post! :)
Kimberly W.
Hi Kimi,
I was wondering what happened!! lol, I thought, "OK, hmmmm... maybe she DOESN'T want to meet." lol Hope you two are feeling better!
Yes, there has been a lot of support here on TT about this issue; I'm so glad for it. I amnot letting it get to me; it did at first but I realized I did nothing wrong and whoever's behind it all will pay his/her dues one day! So I'll leave it at that. thank you for your compliments; I'll be making more for sure!
Yes, it would be great to get together some time, even if it's not about bears.... My husband's name is Chad, by the way... dunno if your husband's ever heard of him, but working different shifts, maybe not! It would be super funny if they did, though!

Millie,
OK, so how soon after they are 'hoppers'? I have no idea exactly how old these ones are, but I'll check under their tail to see if I notice anything . I used to have a fat boy mouse named Chewy because he always chewed his toe nails after he scratched. I've also had a myriad of mice as a child, both boys and girls (not at the same time). But as far as I noticed, these little ones have not developed their doo-dads yet. I'm sure the time is not far off, though! If they do end up having babies, I'll just let mom raise them and separate dad out into another cage nearby. Then I'll let all the little ones go nearby our neighbor's house that keeps parking in front of our mailbox! lol, j/k!!!!!
Oh yeah, and also had a rat when I was younger named Cheech. He would grab any of my clothes within paw's reach of his cage and pull a piece into his cage, chew it off, and make a nest out of it. Darn thing!!!! lol
Kimberly W.
Kim, that's a really good question. I always heard that mice can reproduce every 21 days, and if you consider offspring, you could have kazillions sooner than you think!
Ruh Roh!
I'd better start asking right now - does anyone want baby mice? LOL
Kimberly W.
Kim, I have no idea! lol I guess I'll find out in a few months when they're 'old enough to get married'.....
Brenda, that's part of the reaon I got them... the other part was: I just fell in love with them! And, they WERE going to be snake food...
Kimberly W.
Meet my two new little sidekicks. The darker one's name is William and the lighter I have not named yet. They are 'hoppers', or young mice; my new little inspirations! Mouse makers (and lovers) start your engines! :)
Kimberly W.
Thank you Kelly, so much for that information. Now everyone, not only myself, will be able to use that to their advantage the next time a silly remark like that is made.
I didn't think that anyone could do anything to me for making a mouse with a story (more of a cut-scene if you ask me anyway), which is why I replied that I was certain there was no Copyright Infringement.
I have only one thing to say about the development of this post, OK 2..... lol I am still not going to mention any names....
#1 the 'husband' that emailed me back stated that they were in fact protected by copyright law and that they wouldn't pursue legally if I only did it once. So with that knowledge, it seems to me as though they were simply trying to scare me like they tried another TTer.... which makes them 'not-nice' people in my opinion, and I am so sorry about anyone else they've managed to intimidate.
#2 they are only hurting themselves, and I hope every word that I and everyone else wrote is read by whoever needs to read it.
I hope this post has given everyone a little bit of knowledge and strength to make WHATEVER THEY WANT, as long as it's not copyrighted..... lol!
By the way, look at my new post. All this drama led me to go and get two new little sidekicks! :)
Kimberly W.
Thanks Daphne. I am not trying to throw stones either, as I will probably never know the truth for certain. But I will say something smells like rotten fish... lol I tried to reply in this post as neutrally as possible, but I'll admit it does bug me, the coincidences. I won't be losing any sleep over it though! I'm not out to make any enemies, just make people aware that if something like this happens to them it's not neccessarily their fault. Oh, and make more mice and bears, too!
Hugs!
Kimberly W.
Thank you Daphne, I couldn't have said it better myself!
By the way, needlefelted ATC's - AWESOME IDEA! I'm next!!! LOL
I'm PMing you... :)
Kimberly W.
Hi Brenda, Thanks for your reply, but he said that he takes care of the business end of her auctions, and oversees the whole thing while she is away, so he is fully aware of the situation and any legalities of her business. I wouldn't say I think negatively about him in general; I just felt that perhaps he should have been more 'we are sorry and will take care of this person' and not 'let me have your item number and make sure you aren't committing copyright infringement'. Maybe I'm crazy... I am not on trial here; I didn't do anything wrong! lol
Kimberly W.
P.S. Lovebud, I didn't think you thought I was secretly copying. I didn't too much like the reply from the husband, but I tried to be polite and civil anyway. I'm not out to be a jerk like the one who emailed me.
One thing, this person who emailed me the hate mail; How did they know that I or Nancy weren't friends with Jodi? It would have been completely out of line for them to have emailed a friend of hers. This emailer seems to know a little too much. I dunno about the rest of you, but I doubt my collectors know who all of my friends are let alone email a fellow artist and slander them. It seems a bit fishy to me that this person seems to have a personal vendetta.... I dunno.....
Kimberly W.
You are all so sweet. Thank you endlessly for being so supportive
I will continue to make my littl emice, no matter what either union*proud OR the seller's husband says. They would have a ver hard time taking me to court on the issue. Oh well.
Also, I really was kind of turned off by all of this... Not turned off of mouse making, but turned off of people ludicrous assumptions. I know I'm a good person; I don't try to sly around talking smack about people's work, and I certainly am in favor of ANYONE trying something new.
Oh, and just to mention a very nice part of all of this: I HAVE received many emails from people saying VERY nice things about Morris! My most shoking email was that Nancy B emailed me! I admire her to no end! If you aren't familiar with her, she's the one who does the needle felted opossums. And SUCH a nice lady! Well, if I turned her head, I must be doing SOMETHING right!
Kimberly W.
You guys are hilarious and great!!!!! I will make another mouse, story and all!
I recieved a reply from the husband of the maker of the supposedly copied mouse auction. I will submit this as neutrally as possible, not wanting to assume anything....
All names, again, have been omitted. I have only one question, Why did he ask me for my auction to see if I did indeed infringe on copyrighted material????? Helloooooooo!!!!
__________
Kimberly, **** is out of town due to a family members illness and I am her husband *****, I have been handling loading her auctions and answering her emails while she has been gone. When she is here I handle the business end of her company. **** would more then likely know, but I don't, who this ebayer is that wrote to you. I am surprised you have never seen ****'s work she lists almost every week in the featured artist listing area, she sells under ****** and always offers a storytime animal, mostly a mouse or a bear, the *** was something brand new. ****'s work and selling concept was copyrighted and is protected by law. She has been on ebay a very long time and developed the Storytime way of selling, that is why she got a copyright to ensure her collectors were getting something unique. If you give me your auction number I can look at it and see if there is copyright infringment, even if this looks like there is, if it's a one time thing, we never proceed legally, because of the cost of the lawyers. **** will be home on Friday I will alert her to your email. Thank you so much for writing I know **** will feel bad that one of her collectors wrote to you, she is such a sweet person.

My reply:
Hello *****,
Thank you for your response. If you would like to visit my auction you can eBay search my eBay name, nimblykimbly. I can assure you that it is not copyright infringement, no where do I mention Storytime or anything of that nature. Surely you do not have a copyright on telling a story about a mouse in an eBay auction? If you do, I have bad news for you; a lot of people do it! lol
The person who emailed me is union*proud and I was very offended by his slanderous attitude. I have never tried to copy anyone, and wouldn't ever try to.
No, I'm sorry, I don't know who your wife is; I recognize her bears now that I have seen them and the mice and trap, but did not know her art by her name or anything, and have never heard of Storytime. I'm sure she sells lovely creations, but I haven't noticed her stand out on eBay; I'm sorry. I also don't feel that my mouse, in any way, resembles her mice... I'm sure she has been on eBay a very long time, and I don't doubt that she is a very nice lady, but her 'supporter' is only going to give her a bad name by doing what they did. I am not the only one who has experienced an email from that same person, and I can assure you that it is known among bear artists and collectors what they have done. I couldn't care less if union*proud is a big time bear collector; if they have an attitude like that, I'd rather not have their business anyway. Here is the email they sent and my response to them:
and it goes on, blah blah blah.....
Kimberly W.
ooo, ooooo Erin! I say we make it a Challenge! Do I hear Challenge forum??? lol j/k
Kim Bee, lol, perhaps it's like one of those mass mailer things. Mouse auction? Send out a nasty email!
Kimberly W.
YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!
So much support; and to think I was really worried that I'd ticked off the wrong people! i thought I'd never sell another mouse again!!!! LOL
Kimberly W.
Hey Wendy,
Wonderful suggestion on the color; I would have used a soft beigey pink if I had it! That was the first color I had!!! lol And I had to dye it to even get it to THAT color! lol I couldn't find a dye for soft beigey pink... :)
Ok, now I'm just picking on you! Thanks so much for the compliment!
kimberly W
LMAO, mouse police.... I wish I would have thought of that when I replied to him..... Thanks, Jamie...
And thanks, Dilu...
