Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Hi all,

Sorry I haven't been on this site for a while. Since Jäger, our gorgeous black labrador puppy arrived I seem to have lost my bear making time!

I have still been reading everyone's posts whenever I have a moment, however have not had time to post anything myself. So here is a photo of our 6 month old puppy (now growing up very quickly) in her first prize fancy dress costume for the dog classes that we attended with her.

She is gorgeous, however I know what you mean when you say that she eats everything....we have just had a black labrador puppy who we have nicknamed 'the chewmeister' as she chomps her way through everything she encounters!

Hi Everyone

Sorry that I haven't kept up with everyone's news on TT, last Friday we collected our new black labrador puppy Jäger.  She is only 12 weeks old and a gorgeous bundle of fun, however I don't seem to have had 5 minutes to myself or my bear making! I started a mini halloween bear a couple of weeks ago, yet it seems unlikely that I will have it finished for 2009 halloween!

We have given our pup the unusual name of Jäger as my partner likes the drink Jägermeister (a German herbal -highly alcoholic tipple), and we thought that it would be nice to have something a little different.

To make matters worse I have been suffering from a chest infection too, in one way this has been a blessing though as I could spend time at home with the little one.

I have attached some photos for you all to see.....sorry they are coming out so big - i'm not sure what is happening when I resize them!

Your bear is just adorable, i'm sure your daughter will be overwhelmed by your thoughtfulness. It is all too easy to forget about treasured memories from our childhoods and now she will always have her beautiful little bear as a reminder!

what a wonderful idea, your daughter would have been so very proud of you for creating such a beautiful bear.

Hi Everyone

This may seem like a silly question, and maybe I am having a blonde day....but I can't figure out how to display a photo of my bear within the 'Teddy Bears & Other Friends' (viewed as a gallery) section of this site.

I have a couple of photos once you click on the link to my bear, however cannot see how to display a photo to the left of the topic link like everyone else has.

I hope this makes sense to somebody - if I have totally confused you all now, go into the 'Teddy Bears & Other Friends' (viewed as a gallery) link from the 'Index' front page and you will see that I am on page one, sandwiched between the fabulous 'Evalia' by Kathy Taylor, and the divine Persian kitten by K Pawz.

Can anyone shed light on how I can add a photo???
