Wonderful, happy little souls. Just looking at them cheers me up!
What a lovely, gentle, feminine little bear!
Aw! She has the sweet innocence of a young child. Completely adorable!
Many thanks, Peter. He is a very odd bear. He seems to look at me very intently. Perhaps I need to spend more time with people and less with teddies!
Thank you so much for all your kind comments. My significant other told me my prototype panda, Pandy, looked like ET, but that he feels Petey is more panda-like. Bear making is certainly a journey...
Hugs
Sue
Hi Joanne
Many thanks for your great comments. Re: the website: I've only recently revamped the colours, fonts etc. It needs loads of work and updating. The problem is that I'd rather spend my time designing and making new bears. You will be the first link I add and I would love it if you would do the same. I also really need to learn to take decent photos... If only there were enough hours in the day...
Please say hi to my latest semi-realistic panda, Petey. He is 16" tall with bent legs and arms with my usual realistic arms and legs with black leather paw pads. He is made from Schulte Alpaca and stuffed with polyfil and plastic beads. His eyes are black glass and his nose is sculpted from epoxy resin.
So adorable. I love the colours!
Hi Peter
My advice would be:
wear comfortable shoes
wear light clothes (heat in the halls has already been mentioned)
I take the amount I have budgeted to spend in cash...and stick to my limit. A few artists only accept cash. If all else fails and you want to exceed your limit, there is a cash machine about 100m from the entrance to the hall.
prepare yourself for very crowded aisles between tables around midday
if you want to take photos, ask the artist first
At the end of the day, the number of fabulous bears will be overwelming...if your head overruled your heart, you probably wouldn't be a teddy collector!
Hope to see you on the day
Sue
I cannot resist traditional teddies. Please say hi to Wilhelm. He is made from a toffee coloured Schulte mohair. He has a brand new head design. He has topaz glass eyes, wool felt paws and is stuffed with polyfil and plastic beads. He is soft and cuddly. His face and paws have been aged. He is 14" tall, 10.5" sitting.
Hi
Great looking website. It really looks wonderful. I only found one problem...when I click on the images in both your galleries, the additional picture(s) do not load. Could you have moved the folders containing these photos? To test that changes to your website update correctly, you could either:
force your web browser to reload the pages from your web server (rather than from the cache)
or
use a different computer to view your changes (your changes will not be in the cache)
Please forgive me if I am 'teaching you to suck eggs'. I teach web development for a living. It keeps me in mohair and alpaca!
Regards
Sue
Such a sweet little one!
Adorable little poppet. I love her accessories as well.
He's great...so realistic!
What a lovely rabbit! Great whiskers!
What great expressions you produce on your bears' faces. Personality+++
Such a cheeky little darling! I love the picture of him disappearing into the stump, with just his feet and bottom showing.
Very cute. I love pandas and he looks to be a cheeky handful! I hope he finds a new home soon.

Sue
Vincent is a really adorable teddy. He looks like he is a lovely cuddle. I love his gentle expression and beautiful tipped mohair.

Another triumph, Joanne. You must be absolutely thrilled with her. Adorable!
Darling little panda. Such a soulful face!
Such a sweet little girl. Lovely pink mohair and pretty dress.
Such a realistic piglet and sweet teddy!
So cute. I love his colour (and his hairdo!)
