Ebay has been such a pain in the butt with the new rules and and with the high fees.. I think it just might be back firing on them now.

I have not been very pleased with the new ebay either.. I don't think anyone is.. but when you need exposure it's hard to not use ebay. I have been selling my Dollhouse minis on ebay and being fee-ed to death. It's hardly worth selling when you have to pay so much in fees. The charge a buck here and there.. even on cheap items.. then the paypal fees. Ebay is making shows more affordable... I am planning on doing an additional show this year. It's alot better for me to spend $50-200 on an average local table than $50 in ebay fees to list one bear.
I think they will slowly drown themselves in greed.

Omg Jane, I can't imagine someone getting upset over your hilarious party pics.. o-m-g.. lol.. it's laughable that someone is that much of a stick in the mud.. maybe they were mad cause they missed out on the party?? lol I laughed so hard at your Christmas one... Oh lord, that is terrible! I'm at least glad to hear they didn't hurt any pets.. Some little bastards in Camrose broke into someones house a few months ago and killed the peoples cat in a very horrible way.

Ack, that is no good. People do some nasty things sometimes. Some teenagers got into my truck few months ago.. but all they took was some change.. I had just cleaned it out and took out my cd case the week before.

I'm not sure what it's like there.. but here you can borrow a cat live trap from the city for no charge. Then you can take it to a shelter.. or find a home for it

I really don't know how I use to do it..... BUT it's probably why I am totally burned out now. I am lucky to get a bear done a month... I do work full time though and we are renovating the house. I use to have a years worth of orders and did 2 shows a year.. with my full time job.. lol. I am now planning on taking all my order bears off my website and just making a gallery and "bears available" page. The orders just make me procrastinate and then I get nothing done at all. I have one show coming up in 5 weeks and only 5 new bears made for it so far. Bah. It is VERY difficult to say no to a customer who wants one of your bears. AND I am very bad at it.. lol. But It's better to say no then to get yourself stressed out.

My mom's smallest Pom use to have fits like that.. but nothing helped.. They would trigger when he got really excited though. The vet said he might grow out of them and he seemed to.. he still has one every once in a blue moon. Poor Pip, :hug: :hug: I hope they can find something simple that could be wrong. Kimberly, just a thought but if instead of having people just go to PayPal and pay for your auctions, what if you went into the PayPal site and sent them a PayPal invoice for the item? Would PayPal still be able to track that it was an ebay sale or would their system just think it was a charge for goods from anywhere and the transaction would go right through???. I've noticed a few auctions where sellers have instructed not to pay through ebay but wait for them to send an invoice - so maybe that is the reason, I don't know, but might be worth a try - anyone else have any experience with this to know if it would work?
I bet that would work Edie.. but then they won't have the whole "buyer protection" thing.

So Glad to hear your kitty came home Judi. When I was still living at my parents one of our Maine Coons got out and never returned.. I still find myself looking for him and that was years ago now. I won't let my 2 outside.... They can look out the window.. I could not take the stress of loosing one of them

I have "feeder goldfish" That I saved from my brothers Pirrana when I was in highschool!.. lol... the one died last year and the other one is over 13 years old now! They can live a long time
I've had koi jump out on me too, it happens sometimes.

Ouch, now that sucks.. you know if you have good feedback why do they think they should hold funds???.. and now with them making that the only way to pay for things.. well they have people over a barrell. 
Sad what ebay has come to. I think people will stop using it... I have really noticed a decline in listings in things I look
at. Where there use to be over 2000 most are down to under 600

Wow, that is just.. for lack of a better word.. stupid. Half of my customers pay with Cheques. Not that I use ebay that much anyway at this point.. but I don't really think that this will work to the seller, or the buyers advantage.. especially when the fees are already so high.
