Dear fluffy ladies and gents,
Since my birthday resolution was gone with the wind 3 weeks after I had made it, I ran out off time in no time at all.
As you can see by my Helloween Avatar, the last few weeks have been fast, heavy and hair loosing stressful, but I won´t bore us all with this.
I hope you all had a wonderful, lovely Christmas time!
It´s the last day of the year, time to take time to rethink 2007 and what I had learned in this year:
- that living with somebody can be nerve wreckingly wonderful and stomach fillingly chefish.
- that turkeys can cause you sleepless nights, even before they are cooked.
- that dogs unfortunately don´t live forever.
- that you can have a stroke, even if you don´t belong to the high-risk group.
- that you need to enjoy life, that you have to live happily ever after and that it is our duty to love.
Laugh- love- and live-
All the best to all the lovely people on TT and your loved ones!
I did not forget you, I´m just not found in here often, which I´ll change next year!
God bless & hugggs
Gaby

Happy Hello Wien
I mentioned, that Helloween is not popular here, but the idea was brought over to us by some clever businessmen, so there are always a few kids running from houise to house, trick or treating.
Some of them do dress up, some don´t.
I came home at about 7pm and saw a crowd standing 2 houses ahead and walked my way to my entrance door. All of a sudden I hear a boys voice: hey, look! There´s an old lady, I´ll ask her!
And he comes running towards me with his friend and yells at me:suesses oder saures ( the not real equivalent for trick or treat).
They were both probably 8 so, I forgive them, to call me, with my young age of 46 an old lady
I asked them to wait, I´d bring them something and went inside.
On my way back out he yelled, if he might have a glass of water, so I brought each a glass and gave them a bag filled with sweets, which we nowadays keep for the kids at Helloween.
When he left, he yelled: you are such a lovely lady!
I was grinning inside....old, but lovely.... oh my!!!!
This was MY Helloween story...actually, my first in 46 years...
Gaby
Bobbie, thanx for posting these pix!
Maybe you´ve got pix of the outcome, because I wonder, what "extreme makeover" is all about... :)
Gaby
Shelly, flashes unfortunately "eat" so much of the true color, so , if you have a light tent and lights, just try to get use to it...without shooting hubby  ...or at least only with your cam.
I know, it´s not easy, I´m fighting my way through that as well.
Laura Lynn´s way of shooting pix is great! Wonderful idea!
Gaby
Paula, Paula, plllleeeeaaazzzzeeee...may I also???
This idea sounds so tempting! I just could not resist!!!!
Gaby
Great! Another of Shelli´s fabulous ideas!!!
And as I can see, Shelli´s idea was grabbed by the horn already by quite a few!
Wonderfully romantic ones and modernist ones- actually, I cannot tell, which one I like best.
Of course I had to make one: voilá
Patsy, I was loughing so hard: we found the same snow flake!

Sad, what we humans create out of genetical mulfunctions....Sphinx are said to be antiallergenic ...
they need suntanlotion not to burn their skin and their normal body temperature is higher than the the one of hairy cats, not to cool off....
They look very grimm but they are sad to be very very sweet cats.
Gaby
Shelli,
before I forget: THANX A LOT for the time and efforts you put into you being a help advisor
I need to tell you my first thought when I read your post: OH MY GOD, SHE´S A HUMAN BEING!
Finally I found that out, because you are one example of women, who make me stand ( or rather sit) in awe, getting a dizzy head by the mere thought of how much you achieve in your life.
You have a home and hubby and kids to look after, to learn with them, cook for them, wash, clean and iron for them, have time for them and do funny things with them, * taking a deep breath befor I faint with a blue head*
you produce the most wonderful teddy bears and dolls, impress with gorgeous ATCs and other works of art, find time to chat and give advices in 1001 forums, hit the nail on the head with your posts on TT, are always kindhearted and always find friendly words even when others cannot.
I already wondered, HOW you can manage that ...
I wish you good luck in your refocusing and don´t forget : :photo:
...because I hope to see some new creations of yours soon!!
Gaby
Here she goes!
Crongratulations Maria, I keep my fingers crossed!
Gaby
Bobbie,
you have a gorgeous garden!
Congrats to you and your hubby, because can imagine, how much work that makes!!
Jenny, your pix are great!
Gaby
Laurie,
Brian is such a cutey! As are the others as well...
I thought the second picture is a Helloween picture...with the hand in the bed
Gaby
WOW...that´s all I can type!
Gaby
Chris, what a beauty! Well worth the wait :)
What I love about her is the fact, that she is not so pompous...
