Isn't there a show in Australia that's at a mall?
I'll jump in here although I don't know much about it but there is a show here in a couple of weeks that is held in a mall (shopping centre)...I think it may be the first year, it will be interesting to see how it goes.
Here is the link

I think Lisa...(Megelles ) has something to do with the organisation.
Thanks for your comments Renae...she was fun to make too!!
Thanks Renae...I've added those to my list of names
She is beautiful Kerren I'm sure your collector will be thrilled with her.
When I decided that I don't care if anyone buys them or not I'm just going to make what I like!!!
Lisa I think you have done a fantastic job getting the ball rolling on this one...next year will be bigger and better and we will all have 12 months to prepare...you'd better prepare yourself to be inundated with entries next year!!!
Thank you Laurie and Jeannie for your comments...her coin is a one pice..I am not sure where it is from ( I just thought penny sounded much better than Pice  )
Just a quick question Lisa...what stops people from voting for themselves numerous times? I just tested and voted twice and it let me??????
I was wondering the same thing myself...I found that you could do the same with the URSA awards too...I guess we just have to rely on everyones honesty....Or maybe it doesn't pick up that second vote?
Thanks Karen I see them now!!
Help Lisa I can"t find them....what am I doing wrong??
This one has a name, she is about 6.5 inches and her name is Penny. She is made from a mint green mohair that I wasn't sure I liked when I started, but I'm quite pleased with the way she turned out in the end. She will have a special box that I have yet to buy (I saw it the other day when I was out and didn't have any money with me
)
Prune and raisin are both wonderful!!!
She is made from hand dyed mohair (using food colouring) and pale pink mohair.... She doesn't have a name yet I haven't found one to suit at the moment she has been nicknamed pinky by my 9 year old
She is about 6 inches tall.
I'm using firefox as well and don't seem to have any problems...
Fantastic Clare
He's melted my heart Jenny...I love him
Jeannie what a fabulous bear for your first one...you must be so proud..I can't wait to see Prune!!!

Wow Paula he is beautitful...I'm sure all your bears are going to do really well..
Edie some scrapbooking punches are small enough for mini bears
Hi Shelli
for eye whites I have tried, painting (quite successful), felt (I have a devil of a time trying to get a nice even edge) and now I have been using white cord and like the results I am getting with this.
I do this way just like any cord eyelid and use glue to keep it in place, and I vary the thickness and placement of the cord depending on the look I want. Then I use a darker cord (usually thinner) to outline the bottom of the eye.
