 Great pictures Jane, I loved looking at all there was to offer and the way the bears were displayed. Of course it was great to see the Three Oclock Bears, one of my favorite artists. But all in all they were so great to see and I wish I could be there. Someday maybe, you never know. Once again thanx for the Pics!
I have not had the coil ones, but i believe you screw them in like a normal screw. put the point where the eye should be and screw and push. Being old, I remember screw buttons like that for keeping curtains and couch and chair covers in place?? I think I will buy some to try it. Let me know if that works.
Onion skins are also a form of dye, i have used on easter eggs, the same effect as coffee and tea, I have not tried it myself but i think it could work.
 Paula, he is such a great bear, I love the fullness of the stomach and the big arms and feet. You could just feel him in your arms, great work, I love him!
 Great pictures Jared, I also enjoyed the article in the new Teddy Bear Review magazine. Such great information on you and your mother, I love both the bears and the hares. Keep up the good work!
  Great entries all, they all look like winners to me. such talent goin on in tt. Good Luck!
 What a great technique, but i wanted to print it out and I can only get the first two photos? So I wrote the info and drew my own pictures lol! thanx so much for the lesson it is so nice of you to do this.

What a great poem. I emailed it to all my friends. Copied and mailed it to two others that do not have computers, (can you believe that). But it was a great read & will post to my fridge.
thanx
Jodi
Try to remember that someone else always has it worse than you. I hope things get better in your life.
Me, i am preparing to retire and now painting the inside of my house to be able to sell it since my husband is a heavy smoker. How can I sell the bears I make with all that smoking? I told him no more when we move to the new place. So I had no vacation this year. But gotta sell that house.
My motto is Life is what you make out of it, good or bad. My husband was a drinker all our married life so no fun there. But I do my thing and he does his now. He is the lonely one because he never got involved with the kids or anything else.
So I suggest that you live your life the way you want to. Take the time to smell the roses. Now that I have rambled on.
Get outside and go for a walk and look at everyones garden and watch the birds, thats something else that I do.
Take care

Thanx so much this sounds very good, I will try on a small part first. The coat did not seem as dirty when I bought it. It is mostly oily from hands I guess.
 Thanx for all the suggestions, it happens to be a white jacket and with long shaggy strands of fur. I tried the cleaning method in the dryer with those new bags but it didn't do too well. Live and learn I guess.
I have a white angora fur jacket that I want to make a bear from and need to know how to clean it as it is dirty. I bought it in an antique store.Any suggestions?
Thanx, Pat Hage
SHELLI,
The pictures were great, saw a bear by Jenny from Three oclock Bears, they were all so great to see, and it was so nice of you to give us the run down on Sin City. I have never been there. Some Day!
Hi everyone with the doll fever, i have tried to make two dolls from kits and have never finished either. My goal is to be a great bear artist since I am currently getting started. After about 20 years of crafting with wood and fabric, clothes pins bag ladies and dammitt dolls, fabric hearts, painting wood hearts and such, i want to make just bears. I will retire from my day time job (yea!!) the first of 2008, so that is my goal year. i am currently getting my house ready for sale and then hope to move to deleware in the usa and make bears.
good luck with the dolls. Although I would like to learn to photograph bears better and a web site etc. etc. etc. thats our life follow all those dreams.
hugs pat
