John,
A lovely Thanksgiving to you as well!! Make sure to say hi to your mom for us. It will be pretty quiet around here.....unless Macey decides to create a little mayhem at the table. She's 6 1/2 months already! It's just the six of us this year. A nice break from 17 last year.
Anyway, the BEST of the BEST to you. Warmest bear hugs too!
Aleta
Bless your hearts!! Thank you for your kind thoughts.
Donna,
I was worried there for awhile too. I think I just hit a rough patch....things happening in three's and all that maybe. Maybe I'm just a klutz! Heehee Now if only this darned virus would go away. It's a germy world out there!!
Warmest bear hugs,

Yes, I'm finally going to start selling my bears again.
For awhile there I thought I might like to keep them all!! Some positive thoughts and a private sale here and there have me feeling better about jumping back into the marketplace.
These bears will begin listing separately on my website within the next day or two.

P.S. The two largest traditional bears are made of Intercal's 325S/CM. The peachy pink larger character bear is made of sparse kid mohair from Intercal as well. The two smaller bears are made of a mohair viscose blend. If you'd like more information about that particular mohair blend, you can send me a private message.
It is NOT okay to use someone else's mailing list. I don't care if you're a big dog or someone just starting out. If you see a list attached to your e-mail, which I have on occassion, DON'T assume you can take that as yours. HUGE pet peeve of mine and SO NOT RIGHT!!!

Hi Karen!
When we lived in the Seattle area, in a neighborhood, we had tons of trick or treaters!!! LOVED it!! MISS that now because we live in a gated community of acre + pieces of land. Not so many kiddies willing to walk around a neighborhood like ours now. I think it's fabulous that parents dress up to accompany their kids!!!! The few kids we had were a little older but were still dressed in costume.....and actually asked us to take their picture as a group!!!! How things have changed!!!

We not only dressed up, we threw a big Halloween/Poker Party. Everyone was strongly encouraged to dress in costume.....and they all did!! It was soooo much fun, we're doing it again next year!!
Your costumes are fabulous and so creative!!

It's great fun seeing everyone get into the spirit of Halloween!

I'm not sure if this picture is going to post. I might have to go resize. Anyway, I've finally finished a batch of bears. Only one traditional bear in this bunch....a prototype/one of a kind. This particular pattern will undergo a few changes....smaller feet for one. Was I thinking I was making a bunny? Sheesh! I have been away much too long!!
Except for the little bear all the way to the left, all are new patterns I put pencil to paper to this past spring while awaiting the birth of my granddaughter. Life is finally beginning to settle into a routine so look forward to lots more bears!! It's good to be designing....and actually sewing up bears again!

P.S. Oh hey now!! It posted the first time!! Whoohoo.....I didn't forget how to do it afterall!
Hi Lisa!!!!
First let me say, your girls are BEAUTIFUL!!! I've missed you. I peek in on your blog whenever I get the chance....which, sadly, is not all that often. Like you, I have my hands full since the birth of my granddaughter. I'm Nana daycare while mommy is at work. What a blessing for me!!! However, I totally get where you're coming from in the time management department. Oiy!
I'm just glad to see a post from you here. I do check in from time to time. A little more often as I find my way back to the bear world. Anyway, just wanted to say......it's awfully great to "see" you here.

I like how you've used the long mohair!! That must have been a bit tricky!! He's super fabulous....nicely done!!

Ahhhh. That makes things much clearer. Thank you! You see how things can be misunderstood so easily. Especially for my blonde brain!!

A teensy weensy language barrier here. What is a suburb's challenge?
I'm thinking you are asking about what kind of challenge/competition would be fair to all, how to get people to participate and what kind of rules would be fair???? Hmmmmm.
Warmest bear hugs,
Aleta
I have a blog too, though it's not entirely devoted to bears at the moment. I'm making my way back though!! I've added you to my bear blog role.
Warmest bear hugs,

Hi John!! Hi Beverly!!
John, it was so good to catch up with you in Portland. I have a picture.....just need to post it.... Thank you again for your kind gift to our little Macey.
Beverly,
Schuco bear has gathered some friends along the way. He's still my favorite.....and has such a lovely story to tell. You are forever in our hearts!
