She does Sandi...she has purchased from me for years and knows my auctions well...in fact she was thought to be a shill bidder because of the way she bids.

It really is dis-heartening.

I know she didn't mean to try to hurt me...and I told her that.
And I understand that people perceive 0 feedbackers with a raised eyebrow...but goodness, we all have to start somewhere.

I was a 0 once too...that didn't mean I was a shill bidder.
My concern is how many others has she contacted with her 'theory'.   bear_sad

Thanks Sandi,
nanc........

Hello Arlene this is #######. I was looking at the mini miniature BEAR auction that you bid on and I think there was shill bidding going on in that aucton. I just happen to come across it while looking for needle felted items. I thought you might want to know. Just look at the bids that came in. Those two last bidders do not have any feedback and I've seen them bid on nancyandfriends' auctions before. I just don't like to see some of my customers being hurt. Take care for now.

This is a note that was sent to one of my bidders who has purchased from me for years.  Is there something about me, that just brings these people to my door?
I wrote her a very nice email and explained that my new website is sending me new customers.

The reason they do not have any feedback, is because I do not have anything FOR SALE on my website...I show pictures of my current auctions on my AVAILABLE page, with a link to that auction.

So, in order to purchase, if they are not ebay members...they have to register to bid.

Being new to ebay, they don't know that all the bidding is done at the end...so they just bid away.  Then when they are snipped at the end, they are frustrated and bid on the next item to try to win.

I understand how this can look like shill bidding and I worried about it because I just knew someone would think that...but I can't stop people from bidding nor do I want to.

Anyway, I offered to send her all their emails they have written me...2 of them have just won items and I offered to send her copies of the paypal payments plus the shipping confirmations.

It can all be verified by ebay.  Shill bidders don't pay for items thru paypal and have the items shipped to them.  Thank goodness, I have a paper trail.

Any other ideas, girls?  I don't know what else I can do to prove my auctions are pure.
Lord, I am getting tired of this.  I mean ...Is there anything else?

any suggestions you might have...I would love to hear.

Hahaha...you girls are so right, he IS a love and he was looking at the camera pointed at him, like it was going to get him or something.  He is such a fraidy cat too...and Yes Tracy he is VERY spoiled.
David cleans his litter pan that looks like Daytona beach, it is so big....every morning.  I brush him everyday Sue Ann, sometimes twice a day and he loves it, in fact he gets really goofy.
He only goes on the deck and really gets scared if I take him out (in my arms no less) to the mailbox.  He is just a pampered puddy cat.

Brenda...is that a new avatar?  It is just gorgeous!  did you make it?

Thanks for all the 'loving' comments on my bootie boy...he means an awful lot to me.

NancyAndFriends

Oh, thanks girls...you are all very gratifying  bear_grin

Bootsie is a gorgeous black except for that little bit on his ruff, his 'milk lip' and white feet...hence the bootsie.
He is a gentle giant.

I wished the camera could have caught the true beauty of his peridot eyes against that black fur.
Well, thanks for stopping in and giving bootie boy your ooohhh ans awhs...I will be sure to tell him..."the girls loved you".

Nancy

bootsie.jpgI was on the deck yesterday photographing a bear and my Bootsie (lovingly called Bootie Boy) was out there with me.
I was lovin on him...you can see where my fingers went thru his fur on top of his bean...and I decided to take a picture of him.
He is a cross between a black Mainecoon and a Ragdoll.

I just had to share him with you...I think he is so gorgeous and such a love he is.  Not a mean bone in his body...I won't say little body, because he is a very large cat and just as loved as if he were a person.

Oh, Aleta...were you a cheer leader in another life?  I think so!  You make me want to prod on and do better, thank you for your kindness!

I know, without a shadow of doubt that I will get this figured out....by next year

If I hear anyone laughing, I am stomping off to my bedroom!!!!

and Yes, there is a lot missing because I couldn't figure it out...but please note, there are shadows and a vellum sheet over the color background.
The hubby looked at it and then at the one Shelli made for me and then back at mine...well, thats all I am saying. bear_grin I am not telling what he said.

nanc......

NancyAndFriends

Tammy, I used your instructions to extract and it worked perfectly .... thank you!

Shelli, when I open the black template for sizing and have some elements open and ready to add them...I tried to drag them to the black template, but when I dropeed the flower, the black template disappeared and the flower replaced it. ???? do you know what happened.  In other words you could not see where it is placed.
Nanc......

NancyAndFriends

Penny...I put you at the very tip top of my prayer list...so I won't worry!!! bear_thumb

bear_sad  Jane, that sweet little happy face is one to love for sure.
I will definitely put Holly in my prayers.  what a little sweetie.
Our daughter took a dog from a rescue group...and had to give her back because she started to eat the wallpaper and then went for the drywall...she ate big holes in the wall.  Hubby was NOT thrilled!!  I wonder if she had the same problem.
You just never know what you will learn on these chats!
Thanks for sharing and a huge hug to you sweetie!!!
Nanc.......

NancyAndFriends

WEll, you girls certainly deserve recognition of your work...you both make fabulous bears...and a hearty congratulations!
There are an awful lot of TTers who had some wonderful articles done on your work and I am proud to know you all...well, I am proud to know everyone in this group, whether or not there have been publications or not.
There is a lot of talent wrapped up in this little group of gals.

  Geez, I forgot to put the link in for the forum.
Here is it Tammy....

You will really learn alot about Elements here, but of course it takes the time to apply it all.......YIKES!

http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/fo … 80cef06126

NancyAndFriends

Tammy...I think if you get confused with elements you might want to try this forum.

It is for Elements users and you will see that there is a thread for Beginners...hahaha, that's where I go.
Anyway...on this forum there are many, many helpful and knowledgeable people who are eager to answer any questions.

In fact a little while ago, I put in a question about creating an avatar.  Very interesting.

There is a "Shelli", there too....only her name is "Wendy".  She has unbelievable knowledge about Photoshop and Elements....just put in a question and you are sure to get Wendy to pop on.

I think Elements is slightly different from Photoshop...a downsized version...and I know you can find help there as well as from our helpful Ms. Shelli!!!

I am copying/pasting everything Shel puts on this chat so when I am able to actually work on this, after midnight...I have it all printed up to follow along.

Thanks to you Shel for taking the time to help us all!!  But that is just like you

Nanc......

Here is Elements toolbar:

NancyAndFriends

Shel...are we supposed to copy/paste the black background, flower etc, to pull it up in our program?
Sorry, I know this must sound dumb, but I soooooooooooooooooo want to learn how to do this.
AND, I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that you have the 'teacher, want to teach' thing going on in your head!!!
I am an egar student...dumb, but eager!

Remember I am working in Elements3.
