You are very welcome. That said the only time I do this now is for the head gusset and the paw pads....I just wing it with the rest!!!!
By the way I didn't think of this myself...someone...and I can't remember who to credit them....suggested it to me years ago. I did it for a while then when I felt confident to whizz round on the machine I stopped.

jenny

Just make two patterns. One with a seam allowance and one  without...then draw your pattern on to the fabric with the one with the seam allowance...and then draw round the one without seam allowance on each piece. Hey presto..seam allowance ...

bear_thumb This bunny is one of a couple I am working on...I like this new rabbit pattern...
This is the lovely Tissavel faux fur I bought from Intercal...superb!

There is life after divorce with or without the things that you have learned to depend on. The good thing about divorce is that you are free and clear to start again. Having been divorced 26 years ago and lived alone for 11 of them I know how hard it is to learn to live again and sometimes it's best to clear away some of the encumbrances and the things that were part of the problem. Even if they are teddies. I am glad that they have been allowed to stay but even if they are eventually split up it's way more important that you stay whole yourself....and fill that part of your life with positivity and the determination to build a new life.
Good luck to you...with or without the teddies....I think you have the resources to get through it...

Thank you Denise...I really appreciate your kind comment!

jenny

Possibly it's needle felted and then waxed and varnished. That way it combines with the fabric creating no real line ...it's tricky though....you need practice.

jenny

Oh dear ....that's very sad.
Yes do exactly what Sue Ann says....a bag of tiny ball bearing works extremely well. I use a pop sock ...or a pair of old tights ...cut the foot off and put the ball bearings in then tie a knot ...sometimes I double it over for added strength.
Pop it I the back and then sew it up Look up how to do a ladder stitch so you can't see the stitches.

jenny

Well for me at any rate that's the trick...to get the character of a cat, dog, bear...or whatever ...but keep a bit of whimsy. So thanks for that Michelle!
Oksana...thanks so much for commenting too!
