Judi - How did you feel after that tall brewsky???
Ha! Ha! Welcome back!!! I hope you had a nice time and lots of fun!!!
Thanks ladies for the understanding and support!! I'm feeling good today!! I have the whole house to myself and I'm free at last!! Ha! Ha!
Shelli wrote - Yeah, that gets old after a while... but in the meantime, it's a great opportunity to just settle into being yourself. Take a long bath... read a book. Watch really crappy TV. Eat more dessert, more often, simply because nobody is watching!
I took you up on that long hot bath and eating desserts. I went last night and got me some Crispy Creme Donuts. My husband is going to wonder way I have to go buy new pants when he gets home from Alaska. Those Crispy Cremes are sinful and my weakness!!! If any of you have ever had them you know exactly what I'm saying!!
All is well here and I hope everyone is having a marvelous
day!!!
When they left I had my BIG cry. I wish I could have gone with them and I'll miss them. I know that this is good for my daughter and husband because he is gone sooooo much during the Fall and Winter working. I just wish that we could have gone as a family.
I would never tell my husband this, but I'll miss my daughter a little more than him. When he is gone all the time she is always with me doing stuff. She even sleeps with me when he is gone. Shes my little buddy!!!
I know you gals no how I feel right now so, I thought I would cry on your shoulders a little. I'm sure tomorrow I'll feel better.

Sometimes people just don't use good common since or any intelligence before they think or speak to others. Me included sometimes. It does all go back to being educated in something. When you speak to people or are asked what you do for a living you almost have to give them a free course to go along with it to understand about it. They really just don't understand it is all. So, with that in mind when you hear people dismiss you or say what ever they say to make you feel uncomfortable, they don't understand or have a clue what it is all about. We as humans almost always think for or image whatever comes to mind unless the other person shows us or tells us what to think or know. I've learned over the years not to think for people unless they tell me straight up or I ask them is that what they are saying or thinking. I'm almost always wrong if I do and it leaves me feeling bad about myself.
Yvonne Quoted: So I think I am going to lighten up, accept that, folk may be bewildered by what I do......get those cards in my handbag (thanks Chloe).... and state with great pride..YES!...I am a Teddy Bear Artist !!!!!!!!
You go girl!! And SHINE for all of us teddy bear artist in the world!!! You are important as all of us teddy bear artist are!!! Without us where would the teddy bear collectors go for different teddies??
Do what makes you happy!! Sometimes people can't understand that special glow we as teddy bear artist have. They don't see what makes us happy and satisfied in our work as a bear artist. A lot of people misinterpret what a job should be. A job or career should be fun, exciting, rewarding, etc.. I know people close to me that focus more on how they are going to make a lot of money or the most money they can at a job. Not really trying to find what they enjoy or like doing. So many end up doing things just for money and have so much unhappiness in their life. I'm not rich and I don't have a bunch of money. I can tell you that God has never stopped providing for me and my family. He has always been gracious and loving to me and my family. I love doing the teddy bears. I don't do them to get rich. I do them because I love to work with my hands and create things. I love the time to relax and just enjoy what makes me happy and eventually someone else.
Yvonne - The next time someone ask you what you do for a living and they look at you funny. Just remember the stress they my have in their job compared to yours. We are so blessed to be able to enjoy our jobs from home and not have to go into the world and work day in and day out of stressful jobs. I can't image having to go back out into the world and punching a clock. Or, even working for someone. I love being my own boss. If your happy and satisfied who cares what anyone else thinks!!! ![]()
Bronwen - Oh, I'm so sorry you are going through such a time. If I lived close by I would come take care of your kids so you could go off somewhere quiet and restful to sleep for a few days. Since that isn't possible I will say a special prayer  for your family and you. Take care and know this to shall pass. Hang in their!!

Rachel and Mallory Congratulations!! on bringing home the blue. I know your dad and mom are very proud of you. I hope you celebrated big after that show. I've heard it takes months to prepare for a county fair. Oh, Caitlin my daughter said to tell Rachel she has beautiful long blond hair and congratulations!!
I'll tell ya, nothing is good for you anymore is it. They make all this new stuff and claim it is better and you start using it. Then, you find out it's long term use is killing you. I started using ALL NATURAL honey from my parents bees to sweeten most things.
Me and my family tried to make a healthy life change with foods a while back. We decided to eat only home grown veggies, breads, and foods that were ALL natural. I'll tell you it is hard to find anything left in this world all natural. They inject our veggies with stuff, almost all bread has additives etc. If you do find all natural foods you have to go to health food stores here. Then, you pay out the rump for it. I didn't realize how much garbage is in ALL our food until I started reading the back of every box or label. I guess you just don't know what your eating until you wake up and make a life change. A lot of the words on the labels I can't even read. Then, I ask what is that? Nine times out of ten it is something artificial and it is bad for you. So, I began to ask, "Is their anything good for you in this world to eat?" I decided that answer for me was within reasonable per portion is okay.

Roxanne - That would make a cute cover for a card!!! I love it!! I can tell you enjoyed doing it!! Your work is simply a master piece!! When you start making boxes of cards a dozen to a box count me in to buy some!! Ha! Ha! I love teddy bear cards!!
HEATHER- HOW CUTE!! YOU ARE SO LUCKY!!! I LOVE LITTLE ROO!! HUGS!!!!
Shelli wrote...how I FEEL, is this way:
Ha! Ha! Shelli - Everyone has spoken so many encouraging words that I feel better for you now!! Ha! Ha! You seem to be a tough and strong person. I think life has tossed you just a view to many things at one time. I believe in you and this to shall pass!!! I'm going to pray that God will restore your health and give you strength day by day. Take care of yourself and do what you can at your pace. Everything else will fall into place.

My mother will only have the lump removed. Not her whole breast. We don't know yet when she will have her surgery. Probably in about three weeks to give my grandmother time to heal. My mom will have to take care of my grandmother for the rest of this week and she wants to get that behind her before she has her surgery.
Thank you again!!! All seems to be going as planned this far!! The prayers have been felt by everyone!!!

I can't sleep as it is 12:50 a.m.here. I decided to get on the computer. I thank everyone of you from the bottom of my heart. Still in shock that my dad called me Wednesday evening and told me that my grandmother and my mom have lumps in their breast. It is cancer. My grandmother has had surgery before (3 years ago) but this time they will have to take off her whole breast. My dad and mom took my grandmother in April 2005 and it has been hard on them. Now both my mom and grandmother have been told that they have cancer in the same day. My dad and mom hasn't told my grandmother yet. My mom is having a hard time since she just found out about herself having cancer. My parents have called in my moms sister to help talk to my grandmother about it. My mom isn't taken the news well at all. Who would though. In one day to be told both you and your mom have cancer. I just couldn't put into words anything when I first posted I was so upset and shocked. I know tomorrow is a new day!! God will get us through this. I will have to be strong for my dad and mom. Pray that God will give me that strength. I do have an older brother and a younger sister. So, I'm not alone with this. My sister has been in and out of the hospital herself for the last few weeks. She hasn't been well. We still don't really know what is wrong with her. She has a two year old and hasn't been able to take care of him because she has been so sick. Boy, when it rains it pours doesn't it! Thanks again for your prayers!! I'll be back soon!!
I sat here and wondered before I posted this if I should bother burdening another person with my problems. Only because I know everyone is going through something or having trouble somewhere in their life. I just found out several bad reports today. I've been crying most of the day. I'm not going to go into it since I know several have something their dealing with in their life. Besides I can't talk rational today. All I'm asking is that you pray and remember my mom, grandmother, and me. Times like these I'm glad I can turn and ask a friend to pray for me and my family. Thank you all!!
GREAT BANNER PAULA!!
