Wow! What lovely gifts!!! I love them all!
Now that is a very cute ornament! Lucky you!!!
Actually, you can see her head on the pillow in the bottom left cabinet!
Bobbie,
I have been collecting and creating dolls from Gail Wilson kits for years. The dolls and furniture you see in the cabinets are all Gail Willson kits. Santas, dolls, furniture. The doll I think you are referring to is her Companion Doll although there is a Hitty doll lying on the bed, but I don't think you can see it in the photo. Thanks for asking!
Just finished Gone Baby Gone by Dennis LeHane. Very good and fast reading. Sad ending though..............
What a fabulous opener to our exchange this year! Great work, Krista!!!!
Great looking decorations! Tami, I love those elves you have! And Lisa, your pixies are very sweet! We don't have a tree up yet but I decorated my mantle this weekend. Can't take credit for the decor - just took it out of storage and plugged it in! The Department 56 houses are new in my home this year. They are a collection my oldest son was growing with his father - who sadly died a couple months ago - so they are now here.
Tami L, your ornament is the cutest! I hope its on its way to Cincinnati!!!!??????
Tami E, I have a scanner if you want to bring your stuff over here, I will gladly scan it for ya!
I'm not the world's best photographer, so whoever has my name may want to take a back-up photo in case mine doesn't turn out!
Mine is not going as far as it went last year................
He is a real beauty, Jane! What a sweet face! Great job trimming too!!!
Sigh............ mine WAS almost ready........... and then I was not loving the end result. So it was back to the drawing board.......... I should be done by week's end though..........
Waxing my nose right now!!!! (that sounds weird..........)
Loved it! Loaded quick and easy to browse. Well done!!!
Just adorable! I love the red nose on the white bear. Well done!!!
Cute doggie, Sarah. And I am thankful that everyone tried to eat my turkey gravy yesterday without complaint even though it was lumpy and gelatinous and oily and downright horrendous!
I am thankful for my husband, who is so supportive of me in all my endeavors. He has been a rock of strength for me the last few months following the very tragic death of my ex-husband. He loves my two older sons and treats them as if they were his own. He works hard to give us everything we could ever want or need. I am also thankful for my three wonderful sons. I am thankful for my wacky dad, who keeps coming up with new ideas and projects for my home. And I am thankful that everyone in my family is healthy and happy. What are you thankful for today?
Yay!!!!! This was so much fun last year! Count me in!!!!!!
Laurie and everyone else,
Great job! Love your finished bears!!! Each bear (and other creature) is so completely different! What a fun challenge.
Love it, Cheryl! Very whimsical and creative!!!
Your website looks great! Love the bear peeking out the window!!!!
Thanks, everyone. This bear was a departure for me. I had never tried the anime style and wanted to give it a go. So now I have! It was fun to make. I appreciate all your comments.
Thanks everyone, for taking the time to post your comments. They are appreciated!!!
I'm not a cat person but WOW! I'd go for this one!!!
A total change for me. I worked this head pattern over and over and over til I was sick of it! I finished the bear yesterday and didn't like her until I put the collar on her last night. Now she is growing on my with her very big head and little arms and legs! Hope you like her!!!
The color is way off. She is a soft hand-dyed grey - not near as purple-ish as the photo!
OK, that last photo couldn't be more horrible. This one is a little better for color..............
