Oh and i forgot to mention that i have a new bra which i will be wearing for the first time tonight - make of that what you will but from past experience a new bra usually signifies good times are on the horizon.
I have never heard of such a thing    I just had to buy a whole bunch. With all my weight loss this past year, well the poor girls needed a new wardrobe desperately so they were dressed in a new outfit yesterday as well...until it was time to go to sleep that is.
I stayed home...drank decaf tea with honey (I have the beginning of a sore throat)...and watched a movie "Waitress". I rented several and just put my hand in the little movie rental sack and grabbed the first that came out. Called my children and wished them Happy NY and told them DON'T call me at midnight...especially to the phone terrorist.
Happy New Years everyone. Now that dreadful 2007 has passed I'm stepping into 2008 with a new attitude. I'm hoping to be around more than I have been the last few months.
Hugs,
Shantell
Still no ornament................................ :/
Dang Daphne...this is like a soap opera. I keep checking in here every day to see what's happening.
Has Daphne received her ornament...when will she receive it...who sent it...is it lost...are the postal fairies holding it for ranson...stay tuned...These Are the Days of TT. (Okay so I was an All My Children watcher but it didn't fit in).

Honestly Jane, did you have to post the photo of me fallling on my big ol' butt  I thought that was our little secret. And the little red dress...I'm look'n a little butch, don't ya think...perhaps I'm ready to put on my mask & cape to go out in the world and continue my quest to save little critters or wrestle Chrissie for Leo...although I think she's pretty happy with Deano so I don't think I need to do that.
Wonderful party fun Jane!!!
I would just like to get back into making bears. I've lost it...I love making them...love acquiring them...but every time I sit down and start thinking about what I want to do next I get overwhelmed and walk away. It's been about 7 months now since I touched a piece of flat mohair. So, in answer to your question, I want to try a little of everything right now and find my "it" again.
Perhaps 2008 will be a better year.
Maybe he's wondering how there could possibly be so many kittens on the naughty list this year.
Here's mine...tucked nicely in the bay window. It's kind of difficult to get a very decent picture. My living room is rather dimly lit because I have a rather TALL Christmas tree in my backyard It would take zillions of lights and a firetrucks ladder to decorate. Maybe next year.
Hugs,
Everyone's ornaments are just wonderful. I'm kicking myself for not participating this year...OUCH!!! My life has just been too much and I was afraid of adding something to it...but boy a new cute ornament would have made me happy both in the giving and the receiving.
Someone remind me of this next year, please!!!!
In the past I believe, we've sent them to the 5 people directly below us. So for you Penny dear, you would send them to the five people at the top of the list...that way noone gets missed.
Is this correct Dilu?
My Christmas shopping is almost complete and I did it with a few simple clicks from home.
I absolutely refuse to put myself through someone elses stress to save 25% -50% in a frenzy and then get home and realize I've spent 25% more on other crap I wouldn't have if I'd been in my right mind. I'll pay full price and be reasonable while enjoying my leftovers and napping all day and feeling guilty for eating too much and having just ONE more piece of whatever...pie, icecream, turkey sandwich...you get the picture. :P
I did contemplate getting my Christmas tree today...but it might be a wee bit too early for that yet...maybe NEXT weekend. How about...I know...maybe the outside lights...I almost forgot about those. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!
But have you ever seen a MOHAIR potato???
Well.....not mohair but once I found a stray potato in my fridge that had hair...and it looked nothing like Mr. Potato Head
I thought of this one in the middle of the night...Mr. or Mrs Potato Head.
Okay Daphne, My guess... Bert or Ernie from Sesame Street! Technically they are neither a person or an animal or a mineral for that matter...they are a muppet.
Sign me up too, Dilu!!! I desperately need the distraction...that and I love the merry merry as Aleta calls it. :P

Congratulation Heather! Your daughter is gorgeous. I can almost smell her wonderful babyness through the screen
.
I have to agree...all women deserve medals. I don't think anyone can prepare you for childbirth...you just have to experience it. The pain and the beauty of it. Ya did good!
Welcome to mommyhood!!!

Oh My Goodness 4 months old already!!! I can't believe it...surely not. It can't be...where have I been? Look at that cute little face. I personally love the thumb sucking picture. Your daughters just look thoroughly thrilled with him...enjoy it while it lasts.
Darling little family you have there, Kim!!!
Hugs,
Shantell
Congrats Clare, how exciting for you!!!
So glad I'm NOT doing any kind of slimming club...that would put me right over the edge.   And, MY daughter doesn't need to go to one so I'm safe there too...HA.
Hugs,
Shantell

Jenny,
I notice when I re-registered with Sellersource Book that they have a "Ebay Auction Launcher" which was new from prior to my letting my account lapse for a few months. Are you using that new system which appears to bypass the ebay auction setup, much like what I think Auctiva does OR are you still using the old method of just creating a template and then copying the html coding into the description area.
Just wondering if using their "Ebay Auction Launcher" would solve anything? I haven't used it but thought it might be worth a try.
Ebay is going to shoot themselves in the foot with many people at the rate they are going.
I very much love/hate them.
I tried to grab a picture of my daughter's old boyfriend's cat. She had a picture of it on her myspace but the little brat changed her password and her myspace is set to private...how rude of her to change her password and not tell her mother.
What a darling face!! I love that long nose and those gorgeous blue eyes.
One of my daughter's old boyfriend's family has one. His dad is a very well known vet in the area...and yep, they pretty much look like that...no hair. Kinda weird looking but very much cat. LOL
I've already privately given you my big old polarfleece blanket bear hug!!! But I'd look like a big goober if I didn't publicly say thank you for all you've done to make this a wonderful forum, for all your hardwork both where we can all see it but also behind the scenes.
Now get busy and get us some Potbelly Bears!!!
THANK YOU!!!
Every morning I sit outside on the porch rain or shine and enjoy a cup of coffee while the cats munch quite loudly I might add and just watch the morning come to life. This morning across the pasture not one but TWO mother deer with sets of twins went bounding hip hop across the field.
There was no time to grab a camera...it was just beautiful with the sun coming over the foothills and the mist on the grass.
<Sigh>
Hi Paula,
I need a bearmaking boost...I've been very stagnant and downright bored (shame on me). I'd love to give this challenge a try.
Thanks for a great idea!!!

Okay Super Smelly, you must be from a far far far distant planet. It's not even Halloween yet...one holiday at a time please. I'm still making room in my new slimmer jeans for Thanksgiving...not EVEN ready for Christmas yet.

The person below me........ummmmmmmmmm....ummmmmmmmmmmm
can sing all the words to the old TV show Green Acres with Eva Gabor & Eddie Arnold.
