Peta, Rosey is a sweetheart.
How did you like working with real fur...its a challenge on the fingers ..
Yes, I do miss them..we have 6 grandsons and the one little girl.
My daughters and their family are coming to visit on the 23rd of December for our Christmas get together..am so looking forward to their visit.....there will be 11 of us, so we are frantically trying to finish our renovations..nothing like a bit of pressure to get things moving fast..
Thanks so much...I think the majourity are all great Mums...my kids are my life and I do love them alot..
Regarding family resemblance...Darron is an aussie his wife is Italian..he gets mistaken for an Italian because of his dark complextion.......and he goes even darker skinned in the summer..
Yes, we do miss them a lot. As you can see they live on the Coast. So it is a fabulous place for a holiday.
We will be heading up there in May 2010 for about 3 months...we will be towing the caravan and will be in much need of a holiday after all the renovations we have been doing.
I too think he is handsome...just as I think my daughters are stunning..but then I am their Mum.
Had to share this recent piccie with you all.
This is my son Darron with his daughter Abby.
As they live in another state far away it is great to get updated piccies from them.
Thanks from me too Gail, I have the list printed out and now to buy some very special holiday cards....
Sopia, he is delightful and your piccies tell the story so well..
Have you sent the list out...I mistakenly deleted an email from you and think it may have been the card exchange list.
Sorry can you send it to me again....
Melissa, a beautiful tiny bear....
Unfortunately I had to delete my website guestbook as some "LOW_LIFE" posted an unrelated topic there.
I won't go into detail but it wasn't very nice...
It wasn't a personal attack on me or my bears it was advertising something else instead.
Basically it was [INVALID] stuff...sorry for the details, but keep an eye out if you have a guestbook...
Has anyone else had this happen to them......
Stunning as usual Kathy..
I too stuff the limbs and finish them off before attaching to the body....
My husband has used a hole-saw to cut my discs from craft wood.....and the washers and cotter pins I get from the local hardware store...
My method that I have been using lately is.......enter the needle at the eye position and come out under the chin but the opposite side to the eye you are attaching. Seperate the threads and tie tightly, I then take one thread through to one side where the ear will be placed. Repeat for the other eye. You will then have 2 long threads to attach each ear. As I glue felt accents under and around my bears eyes this helps to secure them also.
There are many ways to attach the eyes but I guess the one that works well for the individual is the one to use.
That would be "an artists choice"
Count me in too.....holiday spirit sounds great...
Count me in too...this is such a fun and great thing to be involved in each year... will send an email shortly.
Wow, thank you Clare...
I went into the newsagency today looking but they hadn't finished putting the magazines out.
Will have to drive back into town to get a copy. Actually I want to get 4 copies so my kids can read all about their crazy bear making mum..
Thanks so much everyone, little Coco is off to live with his new Mummy....
