How cute! Is that a baby hippo?
Ohhh what a sweet little baby bear! She looks so cute when she is asleep! And awake! I never thought of putting a tutu on a bear--but it looks just right. Fine job!

The gingerbread man gave me the postcard of the bear in the snow to send from Long Beach, California. I am glad that Eve liked the postcard.

I got the regular flu shot this year and experienced soreness in arm, back and hip. The reaction went away in a day or so. I had not had that reaction before from a regular flu shot. Now I am wondering whether or not I should get a swine flu shot. I am not in one of the first targeted groups to receive the shot.
There's just one day left to sign up! Would you and your bears like to get year-end holiday cards from all over the world? If so, join the annual Holiday card exchange!
To join, please send your name and mailing address to plumcottagebears@gmail.com by midnight, October 31, 2009, Pacific time. The list will be compiled and sent to all participants within a week after that time. You can choose to send cards to the five participants under your name in the list, or if you wish, to send cards to the whole list. Because this chat board draws people from all over the world, let's agree to send cards internationally. You just need to send a card, not a gift as well, to keep costs and postage down.
Let's get into the holiday spirit!
Could you contact the publisher and buy the copies?
I see the bear in the fur. I see the bird in the feather fabric. There are so many things I want to make, I can bearly (pun intended ) wait to get my "new" Featherweight from Cathy Forcino and start sewing!
 Ohhh, what a wistful, take-me-home expression! Beautiful baby bear!

 Every creature needs a Teddy Bear!

 Battina is precious! The wings curve just right. I would like to learn how to make wings like that. How do I get ahold of a copy of the current issue of Australian Bear Creations magazine?

 As with all of your creations, Pyewacket looks real. Fine work!

Aha! The seal of approval!
 What an exquisite girl bear! I love her facial expression. Good luck at Hugglets! Wish I could be there. I am sure she will find a new home soon.

 Marilyn, another beautiful bear! Your bears have such lovely and serene facial expressions! How I wish I could see them in the fur at Hugglets, but California is a long way from London. Have a great show!

 My condolences on your mother's passing. Samuel is a lovely bear. I am sure he will soon find a new home.
:bday: :cake: Happy birthday to you! :cake: :bday:
 With that hat, she could go to Ascot! What a delightful bear. And including the antique doll is such a nice touch. Great work!

 Eskimo Joe and your avatar bear both look so soft and cuddly! Eskimo Joe especially has a hopeful "take-me-home" look on his face!

Congratulations and best wishes!
 Lottie looks so lovable and huggable! And I love the touch of the big bow on her head! She will find a new home soon, I'm sure!
 Oh, she is beautiful! She looks so soft and huggable! What fine work! She should easily find a new home!
