Thank you everyone for your help!

I returned the persons email regarding my return policy. I do no that I am at fault for not listing it on the auctions but again I have never had that question asked.
Any new auctions will now have my return policy on it.

I do my very best to make everyone happy with the items they purchase from me and I am always willing to work with you. I really do not want to loose any new buyers, but on the other hand I don't want to get scammed either.

I work very hard on all of my items and take pride in what I do.

Again thanks for all your input.

Hi,

I have a quick question and a concern. I have just been written from a buyer through ebay about my return policy on one of my bears up for auction. They have been a member since august 2007 and have a 0 feedback.

I really do not have a return policy stated on my listings I will and do make every attempt to help with any problems or questions my customers have with any of my items. My feedback is 100% and I have not been asked this before since I joined ebay in 2003.

My concern is that I have a very strange feeling about this person. I find it odd that they have been a member for a year and have not bought or sold anything in that time. Also if they do purchase my bear and decide they do not want it I will have the time to spend getting it sent back to me and refunding the money if ebay is holding it for the 21 days or so.
I stand by my work and will return any money if need be as long as the item is returned in good condition.

Need your help please!!!!

Thanks,

Sheryl

Hi all,
Thought I would share my dog walk photos with my lovely little Kayla a Basset/Beagle mix. I adopted her  when she was just 9 weeks old (Kayla is now 3) from the shelter that sponsored the walk. It was held in Parkville Missouri at English Landing Park along the Missouri River.

This fellow turned and gave me a wonderful pose.

This is Kayla and me. Her foster mom snapped the photo without me knowing I was in it. Just a great pose for me bear_original LOL

This is Kayla (left) and her Mom Shelby on the right. This is the second year with there photo together. Kayla had 5 other siblings (1 girl and 4 boys) that I have not met yet.

Kayla was so tired she had to take a dip in the pool to cool of her feet and also play a little bit.

Here is another view of the walkers along the river. Our trees are just now starting to turn colors

Here are a few walkers with there furry friends.

It turned out to be a great day. We had a very good time.
Kayla napped all after noon after we got home. She was one tired little girl.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Krista,

I would have to agree with Michelle, and do the Tan with white markings as that is the most common colors. I found a couple of photos on AKC's website and there is a wonderful color chart there as well.sm_chihuahua2.jpgsm_chihuahua3.jpg

I hope it helps.

Looking forward to seeing him when he is done.

Hi,

This just does not sound right!

I just looked at the about me page on the auction bear in question. This is a person that is a collector of bears, dolls and other items. I would almost say someone had sold him the bear and said that you were the artist, when in fact you are not. Or even worse he may just might be trying to pass it off as yours.

I would contact the person with the bear just to see what he has to say. Then I would contact ebay and forward them his responce.

good luck!

Thank you all for your help.

I am really looking forward to working with real fur for the first time.

I do have one more question?
Do you think I need a lining for this bear I am planning on making with it?

Any other helpful advice is welcomed.

Kelly your vulture is just wonderful. Thank you again for your help. Any easy way to work with the piecing seams?

pandamac thank you again I hope I can do the fur justice. This is my first working with real fur.

Shane The back is very soft and flexible. There really is not much fur there but I think I might be able to get a 10" bear from it at least. I love the color of it a very pretty med to dark brown. The other colors sound wonderful as well.

I will have to post a picture when I am done.

Thank you all again.

Hugs to all,

real-fur-front-side.jpgreal_fur_front_and_back.jpgreal_fur_label_mark.jpgHi all,

What is it???????

I have a question about a piece of fur my mom bought at a Garage Sale. The lady said it was real fur, but did not know what kind.

The piece looks like it was a short hooded jacket. The lining was already taken out. It is a very pretty med brown color. The top is curly (it reminds me of a loop carpet). The back has all types of running stitches when it was sewn. They look like the fur was looped over ans was caught in the machine to make the curl. The stamp mark on the back says martin-rice ltd and then under that london.

I think it would make an very cute bear, but I am afraid if I cut it the loops in the fur may come undone and become straight again.

Any help or advice

Thanks

Hi,
I live in the kansas city Missouri area and we are in for more bad weather this evening. We are under a tornado watch, flood watch and I think a thunderstorm watch. Last night a tornado hit KSU in manhattan kansas which is not really that far away from my area.

   Its just crazy out there.
Please everyone be safe if the bad weather is in your area.

Hi Aleta,

Etsy is for all hand made things only. There is no cost to sign up for an account. All items that you list are .20 cents each for a 4 month listing. The listing format is pretty basic, I did find it a little confusing but not to bad. You can list your item just like you do on ebay. You set what ever price you want to sell your item(s) at and that is what the buyer will pay (no bidding). When you sell an item Etsy takes a percent of the sale price of your item which is very little. Your buyers can pay by paypal, check are money orders which ever you perfer.
They also leave feedback from the sale.
It is all pretty easy. I have not been on there very long, but I have sold one item and have another one listed which as already had 100 lookers on it.

I hope this helps out a little bit.

Hi Judi,

I caught a 5 month old kitten under my older neighbor lady's bushes with a live trap a couple of months ago. I bought it at a local Home depot store. I did use tuna fish. It worked great!!!!!!!

And I am happy to say my neighbor gave her a new home. Unfortunately she passed away at the first of the year, so I had promised her if something happened I would take the kitty myself. Her family still has not decided if they are keeping her or if I am. They still have many things to do with the house.

Thanks Dilu,

Your words of encouragment mean alot. Yes, it is true that this is the first pattern I have designed. I must admit I was very nervous about how she would turn out. But from all of you here with the wonderful advise you have given me. I am ready for my next pup and bear.

I am HOOKED!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again to all of you for all of your wonderful help.

I am now working on my second little dog and I will post him as soon as he is done.

new_mocha_standing_with_duck_decoy.jpgHi all,

Well I have made the changes to my wonderful little Mocha. She is now a Chesapeake Bay Retriever pup. I have taken new pictures and given her some sculpted toes. As well as a good grooming.

I will be posting her on ebay shortly.

Thank you to all of the wonderful help you have given me with this little girl.

Let me know what you all think.

Thanks,
Sheryl

Oh Nancy,

She is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! I love the red ribbon around her neck. A great Christmas photo.

The more I look at my little creation Mocha I think she will become a Chesapeake. I am keeping her name as Mocha in honor of your baby Mocha.

Thanks for sharing your picture of her.

Hi Nancy,

   Thank you!
I think I may have to change the dog breed to a Chesapeake. I do know that I am keeping her name the same.

You will have to email me a picture of your dog. I have a black lab and part who knows what mixed. I plan on making a black lab for ebay of course his name is going to be Shadow just like my real one.

   Thanks again for your help.
