You have done a very good job! My first bear was not as pretty as your Raisin!  bear_happy

gregory2.jpggregory3.jpggregory1.jpgHere's Gregory, the park bench bear. He's wearing a long coat and and a knitted hat to keep the warmth. You see, it can be pretty cold on a park bench in Sweden in the winters!  bear_rolleyes

Jennie

That's a real prinsess dress! Well done!

Jennie

Truly amazing photo! Polar bears are just angellike! bear_wub

Jennie

helly2.jpghelly.jpgOoooh yes, I have been very busy in the teddybear workshop!  So here is another bear, Helly. She is a medieval kind of bear with a long cape and a hood with a bell on it. She's a poor girl so she can't afford nicer clothes... bear_ermm

I'm not so pleased with her, wanted her to look.... sweeter? I don't know. But hope you think she's ok anyway!

Jennie

gregory2.jpggregory1.jpgThis is fluffy Melker the Bear! He is made of long, fantastic synthetic fur and black cashmere pawpads. He has a dog necklace too. I reallay love this fur but it's a mess working with! It get stuck in all the seams and drives you craaazy!

He is also made for the Swedish show i october... peeeew... I never thought it woud be so much work to attend my first show!

Jennie

Judi, you are so talented!!  bear_wub I can only DREEEEAM about making bears even half that good....!

Jennie

Wow, just wow! They are really amazing and special!

Jennie

A big bunch of sweethearts! I think the colouring looks very good!

Jennie

I'm so happy you found them! I'm ashamed to be a human sometimes... (and too often)

Jennie

I'm so happy for you Judi!!!! Seems like you have a wonderful sister  bear_innocent

Jennie

Many thanks for all your nice ideas! I have only used Copic Markers and I think they work really fine! The thing is that they are kind of hard to find to a good price here in Sweden. But I guess I have to keep importing them... or maybe try some of your techniques! They really sound interesting! Thanks!

Jennie

I use Copic Markers to do shading... but what do you guys use? Are there any other great pens that are similar to Copic Markers??

Jennie

I have three ferrets! This is my ferret Tiger.... having a nap with a bunch of teddybears!

...my other ferret Leah (also having a nap but in my bed)!

Jennie

You guys are great! Sometimes I just don't have any fantasy to pick a name...

Jennie

nelly1.jpgnelly2.jpgnelly3.jpgThis is Nelly and she is a friend of my last bear Jackson. They are made of the same synthetic fur.

Jennie

Kassie, god luck to you too!
I'm sure we will be hearing from them soon.. maybe they just don't check their mail so often?! I have heard a lot about TED Worldwide and that it is the biggest competition in Europe so hopefully we are in good hands!

Jennie

Way to go Jenny!!!! By they way, is that synthetic fur? It's a wonderful fur!

Jennie

Hi Kessie!

I entered the Ted Worldwide 2007 too and has also been concerned because I don't know if they have gotten my entry. I'm checking their site once in a while to see if there's anything new but still nothing.
I'll let you know if I get some information! (And vice versa?)

Jennie

I am unemployed at the moment and I have been thinking of trying out the bear business for a while and now it is all set... I will open my own teddybear shop on the Internet!  bear_cry

I'm so nervous and I'm not sure what I'm doing here.... so pleeeeeease tell me, does anyone of you have your own "beary" Company?!

I guess I have a slight different starting point here in Sweden 'cause there are hard to find bear supplies here, so I hope to make this a growing hobby for Swedes  bear_happy  I will sell fabric and supplies along with my own artist teddybears.

Now, is there actually any money to be made in this business or will I go bankruptcy in a minute?

bear_shocked

Jennie

He is one of the most wonderful bears I have seen! How many pattern parts is his face? How did you make the mane?   bear_wub
