Although I'm bursting with pride I always feel a little unsure at the same time  :redface:  ! As you can see from the category photos all the entries were superb  :clap:  :clap:

"Lily" (2.5" sitting) came 1st in Cat 1 - Miniature Bear

"Golden Celebration" (inspired by my parents' Golden Wedding this year) came 3rd in Cat 6 - Group of Miniatures

It was a fantastic achievement Julie ; can't wait to see Santa's Little Helpers again , they were gorgeous !  :clap:  :clap:

Am I right in guessing the event is set there because of Bram Stoker's Whitby setting in "Dracula" ??? When we visited we went right up
the cliff and round the church yard ; very suitably atmospheric ! You must have had admiring looks all day !

like watching a film of somebody else ! I absolutely loved all the nominated entries in my category (single miniature bear)
so I was stunned to get a 1st place .
There were some beautiful bears to see , and I met some wonderful ladies , TTers and others who make the beary world
a special place to be .

Just adding my own tiny squeak here girls - I've ummed and ahhhed about eBay , but I'm afraid it's just too scary    . I really don't feel
I'll rejoin that "super-lane highway" at any point ... it just wouldn't be worth the hassle .
I'm really interested in trying Bid4Bears though , and a whole crowd of us (that grows and grows !) would be fantastic ; it is so beautifully tailored to
bear buyers !  A button under our avatars to get to alternative venues would be great ! I shall look forward to starting a new habit in January - I've gotten so out of
auctioning mode ! I hope we can pull together and make a difference  :clap:  :clap:

Sugar Plum has the kissiest lips any Ducky-billed Platy' could ever have - and the cutest tail ! After all these here "boys" in my house I can
breathe a sigh of relief with my girlie new friend ..... we will do ballet ! 
We couldn't have had better timing with the post either - this was such a brilliant swap !
