It's fabulous, thanks for sharing
Woohoo  I'm sure you're all relieved
The problem is that just because a picture is on the web it is NOT free to use, just like music online is not free to download etc - that's rather like saying that you can take things out of a shop because they're on display there and everyone can see them! If she can prove she has the original art, then she has every right to ask you to remove them as it is her copyright you are breaking. Look very carefully at your initial images you are using and check to see if they are indeed copyright free. Many places have clip art etc that you can use for personal use, eg for your own display at home, or perhaps a church/club newsletter, but you cannot make profit from them. I imagine she's rather fed up of chasing these things all over the web (and you can do that using tineye), hence the stroppy e-mails, but it really isn't worth fighting unless you have absolute and utter proof that she doesn't have the copyright in the first place. Take the items down, look extra carefully at everything else so you don't have the same issues again, and carry on.
Sorry about that. I too think it's probably buyers remorse, and she's being nasty about it so you don't question her on the real reason. I wouldn't refund postage, and also no refund until he's returned to you and you are happy that he's in the condition you sent him - that is standard business practice.
Congrats everyone that won, and even entered
Happy fall to you too
Hmm, do you have a Hobbycrafts near you? Our local one has quite a big wedding decoration section, and it has a lot of free leaflets with ideas of things to make. Sorry, never having been married or helped organise a wedding, I'm all out of ideas!
1, 2, 3 awwwwwww
I just found my postcards for the postcard swap under a pile of patterns - I thought I'd sent them months ago, I'm so sorry  I'll take them with me on holiday next week and send them then...

Katy, I have heard the same comment from other artists as well.
I don't want to enter into another discussion about teddy bear competitions, but what was your main objection?Hugs,
Peter & the bears
Hi Peter,
My main objection was having to send nominated entries off 6 weeks prior to the competition, during which time we had to insure it, the organisers accepted no responsibility for loss or damage, and there was no indication when we would have them returned. The bear I had planned was quite elaborately dressed, but I have no wish to send off something I have spent a considerable amount of time and money on, where it could potentially come back wrecked and I'd have no come back. Also, the time period is in between 2 fairs that I'm doing, that I wouldn't be able to sell the bear at - last year's nominee was snapped up at Sheffield (albeit she didn't get M&M for another few weeks until after the judging), and with no more fairs till March next year, I risked having an unsellable bear too.
Congrats to all the winners
Congrats Sue! I didn't enter this year as I didn't agree with the entry conditions, but good luck to everyone that did
Wonder what that move's called...
Thank you for all the effort you went to to get these for us
