Romantic comedies rule:

Pride & Prejudice
Sense & Sensibility*
Love Actually*
Four Weddings and a Funeral*
Much Ado About Nothing
Groundhog Day
Ever After
Sleepless in Seattle
Shakespeare in Love (sooo [INVALID]!)
You've Got Mail
While You Were Sleeping
LA Story
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
Two Weeks Notice*
50 First Dates
Under the Tuscan Sun (worth watching for the scenery alone)
Never Been Kissed (I had some serious "josie grossy" moments in middle school)
Chocolat
Notting Hill*
Bridget Jones' Diary* (I agree on the "just the way you are" thing. Definitely a sweep-me-off-my-feet line!)
When Harry Met Sally (ask anyone who's ever been to a restaurant with me: I am Sally)

*Yes, I'm a sucker for Hugh Grant, despite his questionable personal habits. It's the accent.

I've played it a zillion times and whenever I'm down in the dumps, it's the perfect pick-me-up!

I agree completely....except I just don't get the colin thing....my workmates have tried to beat it into me.  One of them stopped speaking to me when I pointed out that you can see his blue eyeliner in one scene in Pride & Prejudice.

and wasn't the second movie just so disappointing....I actually liked the edge of reason book bettern than BDJ in some respects but definitely not the movie.

You don't get it??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

*Sighs*

You just can't help some people!  bear_happy   bear_tongue

That cool exterior, those smouldering eyes, his hint at devilment .... oh yum, yum, yum.

Then of course, there is Hugh Grant and as Mindy says, if one overlooks his questionnable personal habits, one can forgive him almost anything simply because he has a twinkle that promises to take you to heaven and beyond!  bear_grin

SOME LIKE IT HOT- my all time favorit! bear_wub
The black and white version though.

Since I don´t have my british boyfriend anymore, I don´t get to see " One Foot in the Grave" or "Keeping up Appearances" and many others of these smashing british TV- comedies.
