: We had a leak awhile ago on a shower pipe The pipe was in my sewing closet. The house is built weird. I am so pissed at my ladlord and his cutting corners ! Unfortunately I didnt realize the location of the pipe so I did not think to check my sewing machine until I pulled it out yesterday too use it and It was musty. The light worked but nothing else did. I was so upset! It was a brand new machine! I hope I can get it fixed! Jenn

Back Road BearsI agree..... I think the bill/replacement should be his responsibility. Go through that closet and check everything, then call him promptly and get this settled. If too much time goes by he might not agree to cover damages.
