I have some of th silk on order...Thread Teds keep it in stock too..I have a lovely stash of fabrics now...I don't know where to start!
hah bears and more bears big and small isn't it fun making them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not brush the 1-6mm silk with a wire brush as I did otherwise you will also have to turn your bear into another kind. My mini landed up looking like it had mange!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I use a tooth brush for brushing.

Lynette..I loved the silk I bought from you...I rarely use a wire brush on any fabric..I use a comb..a normal pin-tail comb..I use the comb end for neatening and the 'tail' for 'titivating' ..i guess the comb won't yank the pile out of the backing!!
I use a tooth brush for brushing.
excellent advice Lynette. I havent had a problem yet but with the long lengths I leave brushing until the critter is finished, for the reason you stated.
I'm finding this short pile silk so versatile. Mohair has never been this good to me.
