Growing these trees must take years and lots & lots of patience, some of these are pretty cool! bear_grin  bear_grin  bear_grin  bear_grin  bear_grin

Ohhhhh - those are maNIFICENT!!!!  I want at least one!!
15 years ago I had 3 Redbud seedlings start about a foot apart.  I began to braid them together for 2 years. They can grow at least 15 - 18" in a year here.
I gave up and cut 2 out when I realized that they were way too close to the house - about 10 feet away from our bedroom window - and I'd not be able to maintain them once the started to grow up at the 12' high roof-line level.
I also started to trim out a crabapple like an umbrella that we saw in England. It was totally denuded of leaves inside the canopy and all of the leaves were on the outside of the 'umbrella'. It became too labor-intensive for my life and I left it to grow naturally.

One of our sons owns a 2 acre 'forest/woods' next to their property. I sent him the pix and said my 5 & 9 yo Grandies NEEDED some of these, so he should get cracking.....

Can you tell me where the info was posted? Neal asked where the trees were located.

Wow. Unreal.
Nope, I wouldn't be able to WAIT the YEARS it must take some of those to finally achieve the look they have! I'd have gotten bored and moved on!

The photos that say Pooktre on them were taken in Australia.
