Growing these trees must take years and lots & lots of patience, some of these are pretty cool!
Wow how fantastic Tami ....thank you lynne
Ohhhhh - those are maNIFICENT!!!! I want at least one!!
15 years ago I had 3 Redbud seedlings start about a foot apart. I began to braid them together for 2 years. They can grow at least 15 - 18" in a year here.
I gave up and cut 2 out when I realized that they were way too close to the house - about 10 feet away from our bedroom window - and I'd not be able to maintain them once the started to grow up at the 12' high roof-line level.
I also started to trim out a crabapple like an umbrella that we saw in England. It was totally denuded of leaves inside the canopy and all of the leaves were on the outside of the 'umbrella'. It became too labor-intensive for my life and I left it to grow naturally.
Wow, wow, wow what time and patience these trees must have taken to grow them so magnificently. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hugs, Jane.
my goodness, those are beautiful Tami....
Wow, cool looking trees!!! Never seen anything like them before. Thanks for the pics.
Regards
Lisa
Great photos Tami
My eldest son works in tree surgery and I don't think he has seen trees like it.
Laurie
Those are beautiful!!! I really admire the hardwork and dedication it takes to keep up with them
One of our sons owns a 2 acre 'forest/woods' next to their property. I sent him the pix and said my 5 & 9 yo Grandies NEEDED some of these, so he should get cracking.....
Can you tell me where the info was posted? Neal asked where the trees were located.
Those are amazing trees, way too time consuming for me to try!!!
Those trees are amazing and many thanks for sharing the photos.
Hugs
Carolyn

Hi, I don't know where they are located, I received the email from a friend and she got it from a friend, ya know how that goes!

Nope, I wouldn't be able to WAIT the YEARS it must take some of those to finally achieve the look they have! I'd have gotten bored and moved on!
The photos that say Pooktre on them were taken in Australia.
