I'm so excited that I got to adopt "Miss Effie Wooster" , she is a LORABEARS creation, I just love the vintage look of her bears and have had my eye on one for quite sometime now and I guess today was my lucky day.....can't wait to hold this little sweety, she will be shipped out in the morning.....I'm doing the happy bear dance! bear_wub  bear_wub  bear_wub  bear_wub  bear_wub

Cute cute cute!!
So, I have to ask you, Tami.... do you collect mainly vintage looking bears or do you collect other styles too? I was just getting annoyed with myself the other day about the fact that I LOVE vintage style bears, collect them and yet I can't make one to save my life thus the bears I make are contemporary. I don't understand it. bear_wacko
Miss Effie Wooster is absolutely wonderful! She'll be a joy to add to your collection!

Hi Daphne, I love antique things, I collect old books, teacups and vintage looking artist bears, I just love them.............. I guess because they are just so different from what I design they just appeal to me  bear_wub  bear_wub Thank goodness there are so many artists out there that make such sweeties!!! bear_wub  bear_wub

oh she's adorable Tami! I love Lora's bears. I too love that antiquey-look, tried to get it myself for my bears but I don't seem to be able to get the pattern right, and then am too afraid to grunge them up!  bear_grin  Must take lots of courage I think bear_happy

Awww, she is lovely Tami. Lucky you having adopted her, I love her name too. I have tried for a long time to get that vintage look on a traditional bear, but they always look fresh faced and new. I can't even start to say how many bears I've tried to make look vintage.  bear_noexpression  Enjoy your new girl when she arrives.

Hugs, Jane.  bear_thumb  bear_thumb  bear_thumb

Oh she is lovely! I was lucky enough to see Lora's bears in person at a show (before she sold out completely!) Congratulations!
