It must be getting boring to you all but I LOVE it. I've been on holiday once again to Dorset, (UK) and spent most of my time at Monkey World.
My daughter Sarah and I drove down to Dorset where we stayed in an old 17th century farmhouse, with lovely gardens that backed onto a river. It was great, very clean, good food and lovely hosts.
Here are some pictures of my furry friends.
Two male chimps from Hananya's group.
A-Mei 13 years old, she lives in the orangutan nursery with the young orangs.
Ben, almost 8 years old. He live in the bachelor group.
Bryan age 6 and Ash almost 4 years old.
Buxom age 17 years. he lives in the bachelor group.
Chimps in the bachelor's group.
Female chimp with Kongs, with food tucked inside.
This is Dinda age 3 years.
Dinda and A-Mei, playing.
Ella and [SPAM], Lar Gibbons.
Chimps searching for scattered raisins.
My beautiful Hsiao-Ning, she is such a princess, always performing for visitors.
Hsiao-Ning again.
Brass statue of Jim Cronin, founder of Monkey World and Charlie the first chimp he rescued. Sadly both have now passed away.
Joly aged 3 years.
Kitty, Lar Gibbon.
Ring Tailed Lemur.
Lingga, almost 4 years old.
Another Ring Tailed Lemur.
Sally, surrogate mum to chimps in the Nursery.
Sammy a bachelor boy.
My own little monkey.
Bart, youngest chimp at Monkey World, he is 2 years old.
Carli (Charlie) one of the Bachelor boys.
Male Capuchin.
Bryan, Sarah's adopted chimp.
I'll stop now, seeing as I have over three hundred pictures, plus video, I won't drive you all crazy.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my little friends. Here's a few other pictures from Dorset.
The Wizard of Oz, sand sculpture on Weymouth beach.
Lulworth Cove, Dorset. Sorry this is not too clear, it was taken with Sarah's mobile phone.
The White Horse of Osmington Hill, Weymouth Dorset. This is cut into the hill-side.
Weymouth docks.
Hugs, Jane.
Thanks for sharing the pictures, Jane. I bet you had a grand and fun time.
You must have been in your glory with all those monkeys, etc. I love the orangutans the best, chimps scare me. Although I love lemurs also. oh well, I actually love all animals. I am sure you had a great time. And your own little monkey is beautiful, love the hair (since I am going bald with age).
Thanx for sharing these wonderful pictures.
Thanks for sharing your monkey vacation with us again this year, Jane . . . I don't think any of us ever tire of seeing your photos. I always am impressed with how human-like they are. Think the gibbons are an especially handsome group this year.
Awwwwwww Jane, you always make me jealous when you go to Monkey World!! It's just wonderful there, I'm off to post Sally's picture to my mum.......xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks Jane, your pictures of monkeys are always fun to look at!
Hi Jane,
I love the photos of "your" monkeys (also the one with the glasses ).
I especially like the chimps, because they have such amazing intelligence and very intricate social relations.
Though I would like to know where your fascination (or is it: obsession) with primates comes from ....
hugs,

I would like to know where your fascination (or is it: obsession) with primates comes from ....
I can't answer that Peter, maybe from having a wonderful Jacko chimp as a child, all I know is that I love to visit them and would be there so much more if I didn't live 120 miles away. You'll get to meet Sarah at Hugglets, that's my cheeky monkey, actually she is the most wonderful daughter any parent could wish to have.
Hugs, Jane.
Thank you Jane! It's great to see your wonderful pics!
Hi Elaine, yes you have it right, that's exactly what a Jacko chimp wore. He is still with me and tucked up safely in a box owing to his old age. I wouldn't dream of parting with him as he has such wonderful memories tied to him. Here's a picture that I 'Googled' he's not dressed in the same colours as my chimp, but you can see what a 'Jacko chimp' looks like.
Hugs, Jane.
Hi Jane,
Many thanks for sharing your wonderful photos with us.
So glad that you had a great time there.
