It must be getting boring to you all but I LOVE it. I've been on holiday once again to Dorset, (UK) and spent most of my time at Monkey World.
My daughter Sarah and I drove down to Dorset where we stayed in an old 17th century farmhouse, with lovely gardens that backed onto a river. It was great, very clean, good food and lovely hosts.

Here are some pictures of my furry friends.

bear_wub You must have been in your glory with all those monkeys, etc.  I love the orangutans the best, chimps scare me.  Although I love lemurs also. oh well, I actually love all animals.  I am sure you had a great time.  And your own little monkey is beautiful, love the hair (since I am going bald with age).
Thanx for sharing these wonderful pictures.

Thanks for sharing your monkey vacation with us again this year, Jane . . . I don't think any of us ever tire of seeing your photos.  I always am impressed with how human-like they are.  Think the gibbons are an especially handsome group this year.

Hi Jane,
I love the photos of "your" monkeys (also the one with the glasses  bear_laugh ).
I especially like the chimps, because they have such amazing intelligence and very intricate social relations.

Though I would like to know where your fascination (or is it: obsession) with primates comes from ....  bear_rolleyes

hugs,

I can't answer that Peter, maybe from having a wonderful Jacko chimp as a child, all I know is that I love to visit them and would be there so much more if I didn't live 120 miles away. You'll get to meet Sarah at Hugglets, that's my cheeky monkey, actually she is the most wonderful daughter any parent could wish to have.  bear_wub

Hi  Elaine, yes you have it right, that's exactly what a Jacko chimp wore. He is still with me and tucked up safely in a box owing to his old age. I wouldn't dream of parting with him as he has such wonderful memories tied to him. Here's a picture that I 'Googled' he's not dressed in the same colours as my chimp, but you can see what a 'Jacko chimp' looks like.
