Hehe, thanks again ladies
Matilda, Aardvarks are related I think. They have bigger ears, a hairless tail and a pig-like snout.
Anteaters are, IMHO, much, much cuter.

Hi Chloe,
Marmite looks mighty fine beside his award.
I love your new bear too, you really do have the knack with needlefelting. The tootsies are just too cool!

Berta,
Some really wonderful creations are nominated, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of them. Best of luck to you.
Just a quick question before I register all my votes, am I supposed to include my name and address etc? I'm not sure why this information is required.

Paula, how wonderful. I had elephant softies when I was a child too. My best friends mum made them and I got one for almost every birthday,. ahh those were the days. I love your new version, it really does look the most squeezy, cuddly loveable elephant.

Thank you so much everyone, it's a relief to know that my design still looks anteater-ish. I originally intended to make something true to real life, standing on all fours, but her soon-to-be new owner has lots of these already so I decided to go for a fun version instead.
Ellen, I'm thrilled to hear that you're working on an anteater too. I can't wait to see how it looks, it will be awesome I just know it. Hmm, perhaps I should start saving up now. Did I say that I really LOVE anteaters too!!
Karen, I am so flattered that you like my lil ant so much. I do love working with wire and Swarovski crystals and it is my intention to have a go at making some jewelry with them in the future.
Best wishes to all
Lisa
Adorable bear. Scamp most definitely has the three O'Clock bear look.

.....Or anywhere else probably.
Finished this special request just in time for Christmas, an anteater complete with her best friend Anton the ant! Red ants don't taste very nice apparently which is why it's not been eaten. Mrs Anteater was made out of a combination of mohair, cashmere and lil bit of ultrasuede for the inner ears. She has glass eyes, an embroidered, waxed nose and fimo clay claws. I made Anton from Swarovski crystals and wire.
I hope you like them.

Louise,
Fabulous representation of a barn owl!! My husband has asked me to make him one of these but I've not yet found the time for it, when I finally do if it's half as good as this I will be a very happy bunny. Fantastic work.

They are all lovely. I'm particularly taken by Rosie, she looks scrummy. I can't wait to see them in the fur in two weeks time.
